Well built tool. very useful.

I had purchased this to manually edge the curb along afield that had grown way past the curb and was breaking line trimmer line constantly trying to cut this stuff. My parish is supposed to take care of this with my taxes, but they don't and it makes the neighborhood look terrible. being the good neighbor that I am ;) I just purchased this tool and did it myself. It was everything it described as. Robust and well built and I was able to stand on it like a shovel and quickly cut along the curb. The blade is thick and durable and the design is great for staying in place as you make each downward plunge to cut through the nastiest grass roots. This appears that it will last me a lifetime for the intermittent use that I will put it through. It's also great for outlining a whole you plan on digging in any lawn. It makes a nice clean border cut that you can just follow up with your shovel for a clean easy dig. I have not needed to try it yet for digging where there are tree roots, but I would imagine it would do a good job on reasonable sized roots.

Fantastic tool by a fantastic company. I have the Rootslayer shovel, space and this edger. They're indestructible, incredibly well designed, and they are amazing to work with. Great gift for any gardener, too. This is a MUST HAVE.

Helps to edge my lawn
Color: Red

I am only 5'2" and find the handle a bit long for my size. I wish in the end that I'd gotten an electric edger because I'm envious of my neighbor's gas edger with the rolling wheel. This takes considerably more work. I love Radius products and have several. They have been sturdy and durable for me.

Terrific tool for edging root-bound planting boarders. The weight and size is very manageable even for a 5’0” arthritic woman.

This edger works quite well. It's well made and easy to use. It is very sharp and cuts roots when edging very easily. The edger is light weight despise what some of the reviews states. Very happy with this purchase.

This is a really nice quality tool that will likely last forever under normal use. It is heavy though, likely 2-3 times heavier than the cheaper models out there. My SIL borrowed and returned saying it was too heavy for her to use.
