I've been a long time racing player but never had a wheel setup until now. This cockpit fits my needs perfectly that it folds up and can be stored to the side without taking up too much space. I'm only using a logitech G923 with pedals for now and it works fine. Mounting and cable management works easy, but not perfect. It's pretty stable when sitting in it, but definitely not solid, which is to be expected. The force feedback gives the chair a bit of a rumble throughout when driving over curbing and bumps which inadvertently adds a touch of immersion, like you are sitting in a car. Con: The adjustable height of the wheel portion is not amazing, and came loose during a race causing issues. I'm sure it can be modified or tightened but it looks to be made of plastic and is a bit flimsy. There is noticeable play, up and down, if you push or pull the wheel too hard. Not a deal breaker but just something to be cognizant of. I would probably not recommend a direct drive wheel but the lower end beginner wheels work great. ... show more

I’m 6’1” (approximately 185.42cm/ 73in) and this chair is perfect. I’m using the Logitech G920 with the shifter, bought separately. This chair is fully adjustable making it comfortable for any height and reasonable weight. I weight 255lbs (approximately 115.67kg) and the chair holds me just fine. Of course, you don’t want to throw yourself in the chair or be too rough it in. I play American Truck Simulator and Forza Motorsport for hours on end with zero discomfort. The adjustment knobs on the sides are a little tricky and take a second to comprehend, but once you realize it doesn’t need to be torqued tight, it’ll latch right into place and hold perfectly. 10/10 I would recommend to anyone and would buy again. ... show more

My brother surprised me this Christmas with a Logitech G29 steering wheel with optional shifter. I mounted it to a TV stand out of the box but quickly realized that just wasn't going to work. I looked at many racing simulator cockpits but this one in particular stood out. I have a very tight space so needed something that would fold up when not in use but also wanted something that would be more than just a lawn chair with a steering mount and not break the bank. I have spent a good 18 hours in this simulator and I couldn't be happier with it. I am 6 foot and the seat fits me very comfortably and the pedal mount adjustments are plenty long enough for accurate leg room. Another nice feature is that the steering wheel and gear shift mount hinge to one side when getting in and out of the chair so no special tricks for getting in and out of the chair. There is also a stabilizer foot so when the steering will is hinged up, the chair doesn't tilt over, (it feels very stable with this steering wheel in the hinged up position). Another thing I really like about this setup is where the actual shifter mounts, a lot of the simulatora have the gearshift right by the steering wheel but this one mounts it a bit lower for more of a natural feeling of having it in the center console. This bracket can also be mounted on left or right to simulate right hand drive cars if desired. The only thing I did run into that you will want to watch for is during the assembly, the bolts that hold the ratcheting supports are longer than the diameter of the tube frame so you will just want to lightly snug these up with the provided allen wrench to prevent frame damage, (believe this is where some people have had troubles by forcing it tightly against the frame and weakening tube frame). I put a little medium thread lock on these bolts to prevent them from backing out. Overall, I am very pleased with this simulator, it's honestly nicer than I was expecting. If you are looking for a foldable simulator for a fair price then look no further. ... show more

I have to say at the price point you can get this foldable rig, it's hard to beat. Im about 150 pounds at 5'11'' and so far it's comfortable and keeps my pedals nice and stable. The steering wheel mount has a little bit of play where the bars meet the seat but that's inherent due to the design of the mount bars hinging so you can easily get in and out. It hasn't bothered me any and unless your mounting your 12nm direct drive wheel to this thing, I don't see why it would ever be a problem. When folded up the stand with everything will easily fit in a closet which works great for me. All in all, bang for your buck this rig is a 5 out of 5. ... show more

The attachment for the foot pedals became loose after 3 weeks of use. The screws became stripped and they longer supported the base the pedals rest on. Then returning it was a nightmare because you need a box big enough for it to ship it back. A lot of hassle and this seat is over priced and not good quality. ... show more

The experience was great until the foot plate locks broke a week after I got it.. for 250$ you should have the bottom lock not twist lock that warps its self out...
