I am an adjunct instructor for the EMS program at my local college. Since I don't have an office at the school, I do a lot of work from home and needed a bit larger bag to carry back and forth, but also something that was versatile enough that I could also take to to my full time job with me. So far, this fits the bill perfectly. The bag is wide enough that my laptop goes in and out easily and the laptop pocket also holds my 2nd screen. The bottle pockets on the inside are perfect for my cord and mouse so they're not just laying in the bottom of the back and there are lots of other pockets both inside and outside for other accessories, medical supplies and personal items. My files fit perfectly with room to spare and it's comfortable to carry. We'll see how it holds up over time, but so far so good! ... show more

This bag is SO awesome - it might be my best purchase of the year! I'm a nonprofit consultant, so I travel often to facilitate training and strategic planning retreats, both of which require plenty of participant materials like markers, pens, post-its, scissors, tape, magnets, name tags, business cards, handouts, folders, notebooks, workbooks, giveaways, and more. This bag holds all of this and more, including my MacBook, iPad, chargers, cables, adaptors, etc. The number and variety of interior and exterior pockets ensure that nothing is damaged or wrinkled during travel, and everything stays organized and is easy to find when it's time to set up - a place for everything and everything in its place! In addition to TWO traditional exterior side pockets for stashing your water bottle, it even has two insulated pockets inside where you can store beverages without worrying about condensation leaking on everything inside. It's exceptionally high quality - the fabric is thick and tough, and it's clear that it will hold up well over time. I love the color and the linen-like texture. It's both stylish and functional, which I truly appreciate! I love that it has an adjustable (and removable) strap to make carrying it through the airport comfortable and convenient, and it has an additional strap on the back so that I can attach it to the handle of my rolling suitcase. All of this - and it fits underneath the seat even when fully stuffed so that it can serve as a personal item rather than a carry-on (and ensures easy access to my devices mid-flight). What I like most about this bag (after about 3 weeks of use so far) are the pockets and the layout of the pockets. I carry a Surface Pro with a keyboard back and forth from work, and it feels secure in the laptop sleeve. Most of the pockets are designed with the understanding that users will put three dimensional objects in them (not just flat things which I greatly appreciate). On the inside there's a place for my cord, my mouse, my snacks, my glasses, my protein shake, my pens, a little note book, my wallet, and more. In the middle there's room for some larger items like books &/or sneakers. And I haven't even mentioned the pockets on the outside yet. I like that there's a place for almost everything I need while away from home and needing access to my computer. The material is thick and (so far, knock on wood) the craftsmanship/quality seems pretty good and it looks professional. Sometimes the smaller exterior pocket zipper is a little tricky to open and close because of how it's sewn, but no big whoop What I don't like, and this is probably what we all should expect if we don't spend top dollar for a high-end bag, is that it tends to lean or just tip forward onto its side. FINALLY!!! After ordering other bags, I finally found a great bag for work. I have lots that I have to carry for work because I got to different locations, trying to find a bag to hold everything and not be crammed or overly heavy was getting frustrating. This bag literally holds everything. My binder, charts for work, pencil/pens holder, badges, handphones, water bottle, stethoscope, etc etc. Even with all my things, it doesn't feel bulky or overly filled. I like the pocket sizes on the front, one longer and thr other taller. Being a shoulder strap was definitely a plus for me as well, as I prefer that over a backpack style. And the strap is comfy. I work for a senior relative and have to carry a lot of items to see him twice a week. My laptop, label maker, his papers, checkbook, stamps, etc. I also carry various things that I may need while I'm there like tools, shipping tape, scissors, wd40 and many other things I may need. My old bag fell apart and I found it hard to replace. This bag has tons of room, all my essentials are in it and my laptop is tucked safely in the laptop area. I wanted something with a shoulder strap but also want the two handles to grab it from my car while the valet waits for me to collect my stuff. This seems like it's going to work great and I'll also take it on a long vacation and have access to lots of stuff while I travel. It seems to be well made and the pockets are working out great.
