I like to smoke a little weed right before I wind down to sleep (I work a 9-5) every night. Without it, I don't sleep very well. I also have a pet yorkie, a green cheek conure and carpet in all of the living room where I work from home (in the same living room) full time since the pandemic started. Not sure where to start about the RabbitAir -A2. I've had this impressive unit (mounted in living room wall) for about a month now and would buy this again in a heart beat. One impressive function of this unit is the way it's able to remove prominent odors in the air (i.e. the smell of marijuana) quite effectively! I also can smell the air quality is much more fresh and my allergies are improved. I also put this bad girl to the test to see how well it does removing odor. Basically what I did was took a long hit of some Gorilla Glue #4 (amazing flour) via my firefly 2+ vaporizer and sat next to the RabitAir -A2 (setting was on turbo). Then I let out a huge cloud facing towards the unit and waited for about a minute to ask my 9 year old son to come down from the 2nd floor level of our house. After about a minute, he came down and I asked if he smelled anything "skunky" or "out of the ordinary". He said he couldn't smell anything out of the ordinary and I thought to myself I really couldn't either. Since about 3 weeks ago I've been smoking in the comfort of my living room before going to bed and no one has mentioned anything including the lovely wife (she's anti-weed, but I still love her). I've also noticed that my sleep pattern has been improved because of the convenience smoking in my living room and not having to worry about skinking up the entire house. I do smoke out of a vaporizor and so it's not the same as smoking a blunt where there's combustion and so I'm not sure how well that kind of smoky cloud would do against the RabbitAir -A2. The unit is also very quiet and even on turbo, it sounds like a normal air conditioner and having a conversation is still doable. Hopes this help! ... show more

I can't begin to tell you what a life changer this has been. With have lung disease with chronic asthma, I had 38% use of my lungs. Needless to say, inhalers and nebulizer treatments were part of my daily routine. 2 summers ago, the fires in NorCal were so bad, air quality was >150 for months. So the following summer, I purchased this bad boy in preparation for fire season. And while the fires never came, I could immediately feel the impact this purifier made in my home. Within a few days I noticed I wasn't coughing as much. I'd reach for my inhaler out of habit and realize I didn't really need it. I used to use it 3-5 times a day, now I use it maybe once...some days not at all. Now I only have to use my nebulizer when I'm sick. My lungs don't fill up with as much lung-butter as they used to. I don't wake up with headaches anymore. I just got to the part when I had to change my filters and the machine pretty much shut down until the new filters got here (which I ordered through the app and got here within 4 days....pro-tip schedule a reminder for yourself to order filters in advance so you don't have to wait). Within a day or 2, I was back to using my inhaler 3-4 times/day. I also find it amusing how well it works sometimes. I have a smaller apt (650 sq ft), and most of it is open concept so I just have the one purifier in the middle. I keep it on auto so it will adjust as needed. I'll spray hairspray in the bathroom (down the hall about 8 feet away) and within a few minutes, I can hear the fan increase. It works quickly, too! Within maybe 3 or 4 minutes, the fan goes back down. When I cook on the stove top, it'll increase. I have cats and when one of them has a particularly rank poop, the fan increases haha. It's amusing. Anywhatsit....it's a pricey investment but by far one of the best investments I've made for my health. I've probably saved more than what it cost to buy this thing just for the fact that I rarely have to buy nebulizer medications anymore. Good job, Rabbit Air. We have three units in our home and two units in our Son's cabin on the property. We absolutely love them! It is amazing how much "stuff" they remove from the air. Its basically set them up and forget them. We use the mobile app when needed but for the most part, there is nothing do. We have them on our calendar when its ready to replace the filters and that takes about 5 minutes or so. ... show more

It improved the air quality of my LA apartment right away and is helping keep the dust levels down. When I dust or vacuum this thing will kick in and I know it's helping clear the air of any dust I've kicked up. I actually can clean less frequently because of this. I wasn't sure if I'd actually recognize a difference in my air but I do, and I love it. The air just feels lighter, and I'm clearing my throat much less often. It's no louder than a fan when at max, quieter than a computer at low (most of the time). Worth it, hands down. The only thing I'm sad about was that I ordered the white color and got black, which just looks bulkier in my small apartment, but I didn't feel like returning it for such a minor mixup. ... show more

After reading reviews and doing research, I decided to try this. First off, the pictures depict a modern, sleek unit, I feel in person it is not that! Against the wall it’s not flush as the sale pics show. Make sure if you install on wall you find studs near an outlet, cable is short. I feel the unit is overpriced for what you get and does. Too many layers for filters! Can you just house all pieces in one with the HEPA filter and be done? The unit is so loud! I own 2 Allen units and at highest mode the rabbit by far is the loudest. The remote is tiny and feels cheaply made. You have to read and learn how t work the buttons on the remote, there’s not lettering to tell you what is what. In my opinion, too many layers for filter, too bulky and thick (sticks out) on wall, too expensive for performance. I fell my other units by Allen outperforms the rabbit in efficiency and looks at 1/2 the price. ... show more
