No idea what the tool that came with it is for but love this case. No sticky stuff needed. It fits the case like a glove without any adhesive. Edit: had this thing for 8 months and no issue. There’s no adhesive when putting it on but it doesn’t slip out and is a perfect fit. Couldn’t be more perfect. Maybe wishing for brighter colors!

I ended up returning this AirPods case. The quality just wasn’t what I was looking for, and unfortunately, it didn’t fit my AirPods properly. That said, the price was lower than most other options, so it’s fair to say you get what you pay for. Might work for someone with different expectations, but it wasn’t the right fit for me.
