Bought these last minute for a 10 day mountain rescue exercise. Put them through mud, rain, and hot humid weather and they did a good job keeping my feet dry and comfortable. The inserts did have to get changed after two days because of the smell from all the moisture, but they ship with an extra pair of inserts so I was able to wash them and air dry them in between changing them out. I normally get back pain with bad fitting shoes, but these boots fit great and kept my feet comfortable all day. I also used them to rock climb and repel outdoors and they had good traction. Overall, I would say these are great versatile boots to use outdoors in different terrains. Very satisfied with them, especially with such a low price.

I purchased these to go on a hike in the mountains. They came with an extra pair of laces and insoles. They were comfortable throughout the hike and gave great ankle support in addition to having superb traction. They are also quite cute and a great buy!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! I have wide feet and shoes always give me blisters or hurt when I first wear them. That’s why I’m always in flip-flops! Well, I needed something to hike in and I thought I would just give these a try and I have zero regrets! I just did a one hour hike on a very rocky terrain and my feet feel amazing! Highly highly recommend. True to size.

Initially tried these boots because they're supposed to have good ankle support. I have really unstable ankles after having surgery and can confirm that the support is legit. One of my dogs ran into the back of my legs full tilt. 65lb little bastard for reference. Ankles didn't collapse on me while wearing these boots. Am I in pain? Absolutely. Do these boots have some of the best support ever? Yes. Plan on using them for hunting in this coming season so I'll really put them to the teat. Out of the box though they fit great and I added my own orthotics to them for a bit more support for my ankles in some rough terrain here in NM. So if you're on the fence about these boots, they survived a fur missile attack and helped me stay on my feet. Require a bit of break in but otherwise good boots so far.

[Review for black & blue boots] What's the best thing about these hiking boots? You don't have to break them in, and the insoles are super comfortable, and they're true to size. I'm also impressed with the water resistance. I've crossed many creeks, and the water came up over the shoes, and my feet stayed completely dry. However, I had to give this three stars, because these are not slip resistant at all. I went out on my deck after a downpour, and almost slipped and fell on the slick surface. I've also had some slippage on trying to navigate on rocks through a creek. [Review for the brown shoes] I ordered the brown version of these, and they are not at all like the black and blue ones that I have. First, the sizing is smaller. I ordered the 8, which I did in the black & blue, and it was way too tight. They also do not come up over the ankles. but instead are right beneath the ankle, which I do not want in a hiking boot.
