So far, this controller works as it should. Probably would have been 5 stars if it hadn't been for a couple of issues. (1) There is no wiring diagram included for the solenoid part as to where to put the wires from the remote receiver. These are visible in the pictures on the Amazon description so you can look there. (2) Only 1 of the Pre installed butt connectors on the remote receiver was correct for the application. The red power wire had a big enough ring terminal to use. The black, blue and yellow had tiny ring terminals when the black should be a bigger ring terminal and the blue and yellow should be female spades. So, just to see if it is going to work, you have to cut the 3 wires and install the proper connectors. Not sure how the warranty would be handled if you tried to send it back for not working but it had been altered. Luckily mine worked

None of the wire connections fit. So you end up having to cut them all off and attempt to change them. The wires are so small and fragile hard to get the correct connections. Once that is all done I find out I can't replace the can am electric box cover because all the wires are too short to be able to move the remote box out of the way. The remote did work but I ended up just taking it out and I guess I have to eat the cost because I waited too long to install and I can't return it.

I purchased this wireless device to replace an antiquated rotational switch that was unsightly and ill placed. I was able to have this mounted under the body very easily. The wireless transponder is compact and lightweight and is best secured with double sided sticky tape and zip ties. The solenoid is robust and appears to be high quality and Well sealed. The initial function and operation is fantastic, but it was just installed so we don’t have any long term history with it. The instructions are not clear, but they are easy to figure out. The remotes were paired and the instructions also provide directions to pair them should they not be paired. One remote did not work due to a dead battery. Each remote uses one 23a 12v battery. Still, this is a super deal compared to a standalone replacement relay and switch.
