I purchased this wireless device to replace an antiquated rotational switch that was unsightly and ill placed. I was able to have this mounted under the body very easily. The wireless transponder is compact and lightweight and is best secured with double sided sticky tape and zip ties. The solenoid is robust and appears to be high quality and Well sealed. The initial function and operation is fantastic, but it was just installed so we don’t have any long term history with it. The instructions are not clear, but they are easy to figure out. The remotes were paired and the instructions also provide directions to pair them should they not be paired. One remote did not work due to a dead battery. Each remote uses one 23a 12v battery. Still, this is a super deal compared to a standalone replacement relay and switch. ... show more

Product works as stated, both remote came programmed and with batteries ready to work. The Range is about 50 feet as the module is installed near the Fifth wheel in metal storage box to stay out the weather. I gave it 4 stars because I did have to change the terminals on the remote module ends which was weird as they came together you would think it would have the right connector. Also its not fuse so you have to buy a breaker separately. I'll update if any issues occur. ... show more

Wiring is basic and straight forward. BUT. The signal from the remote bounces on and off 1 second at a time from more than 10' away no mater how you position the antenna. A 1 second delay from letting go of the button on the remote. This is dangerous and works the motor and relay very hard. I installed past my return window. TOO BAD for me. I need a better brand! And YES it is a fully charged 500cca lithium quad/motorcycle battery I use for a 700 cc quad. ... show more

    • solidly built. needs different connections
worked perfectly on my old harbor freight wireless winch that i lost the remote for. a big project to swap everything out and get it to fit within the old plastic box. like the other reviews, the thing comes with mini round connectors when you need spade connections. plus, the instructions are 75 percent worthless as they are incomplete and not in color. telling you this wire is "out", doesn't help. where does it connect to? you will figure out the wiring until you get to the white and yellow wires which go on the 2 spade terminals. put them on lightly. if the winch is not working in the correct rotation, swap these 2 wires. the remotes are solid and appear heavy duty. (and two of them) ... show more

JUST KNOW YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR . ITS CHEAP FOR A REASON... ZERO INSTRUCTIONS COME WITH IT.. ITS GOT WIRING TERMINALS PRE INSTALLED THAT WONT WORK FOR HOW ITS DESIGNED SO IM NOT SURE WHY THEY EVEN BOTHER WITH THEM. AFTER YOU FINALLY GET IT ALL HOOKED UP ITS VERY BULKY AND THERES NOT REALLY ANY WAY TO TUCK THE WIRES SO THEY ARENT JUST A MESS.. THE WIRELESS PART LEAVES ALOT TO BE DESIRED.. IT PULSES MORE OR LESS AS YOURE RUNNING THE WINCH IN OR OUT.. LIKE ON 3 SECONDS OFF 1 SECOND BUT ITS NOT CONSISTENT ... IF THIS WAS FOR MY MAIN WINCH ID RETURN IT BUT ITS JUST THE SECONDARY WINCH ON THE BACK OF MY BUGGY.. ITS "MEH" AT BEST. ... show more
