Before I bought this item I read comments that complained about not fitting or breathing issues or fogging. I wear an 8 1/2 size hat. That equates to a 3XL and I had no issues getting it on. The hose barb at the back of the hood is for an air supply line and if you hook one up you won't having breathing or fogging issues. I do not know about durability because it is brand spanking new but it feels tough enough to last. ... show more

    • Buy something better
Even though this hood is very durable, that durability makes it very heavy and uncomfortable. It proved to be very hot when sandblasting which would fog up the lens. I need a hood made out of lighter material rather than heavy burlap.

    • Flawed design but fixable with a simple modification
It fits my big fat head as well as smaller/normal size heads. The air supply design is functional but poor. Using it as provided, half or more of the air supply leaks out the back and top before even reaching the user's face. I modified it by connecting a flexible plastic tube to the inside of the air input tee routing the tube above the forehead. I capped the unused side of the tee. The result is better air supply with lower supply pressure/flow required. For the price this is a solid deal. I'm not even upset that I had to modify it. Not that heavy, ofc fogging after couple minutes but check the price, then complain. Definitely worth, i already sandblasted couple whole days in it and no complaints
