I ordered this mask because I knew I had a job removing drywall from a ceiling as part of a bathroom remodel for a customer. I knew I was going to be covered in drywall dust and insulation. And I was. The mask performed beautifully. I could see, it fit my glasses perfectly, because it is open on the bottom there was no fogging issue at all, it was plenty roomy inside, it flipped up smoothly, the headband was easy to adjust and held very securely. I really like the overall fit and comfort plus the ease of adjustment. The fact that it wraps farther around your face adds additional protection for your eyes when grinding. I’ve only used it for a few hours so far but it’s way more comfortable than my older big box store version.

DEAR FRIENDS: I have bought 4 types of shields from amazon and worn all of them several days. The idea of a shield is much better than the "medical" N95 mask. In short: Duo Mask: uncomfortable, terribly overpriced. Sellstrom S39010: adequate. Of the ones u can buy right now, BUY THIS and line the headband with Dr. Scholl's moleskin. Sellstrom S39110: the most uncomfortable, you will have to remove the headband liner COVER and replace it with moleskin. You also get a more substantial head size adjustment mechanism, but if you r the only one to wear it this would be unimportant. Sellstrom S32010: Of these 4, this is the most comfortable with a substantial adjustment mechanism and headband lining. At this time it is only being sold by amazon to hospital accounts, but might be available at graingers and other sources. BUY THIS ONE IF YOU CAN FIND IT. THIS ONE: Jackson Max View #14200: Very nice, with a substantial frame all the way around the clear facepiece. This reminds you of where the shield is, if you are eating. Its mechanism is excellent but if you are trying to wear it in a restaurant while eating, the lower edge of the frame gets in the way of your vision. For me, an equal choice to the Sellstrom S39110, so it depends on what you can find to buy. REMEMBER TO REMOVE the plastic coating from BOTH sides of the lens. This is not obvious, and the lens seems opaque while once the protective film is removed all r crystal clear. ... show more

It's comfortable and adjustable so I can wear a sweat band under it sometimes, and very clear so vision isn't blocked.
