Update: Two weeks later ... they are intermittently flickering. It’s very distracting and disappointing. I took them down. Very disappointed because the design is beautiful and unique. Would recommend not to buy these. ******* I know, I know, it’s only November 2, but these came yesterday and they looked so magical that I just had to hang them up! Pros: They are unique; I wanted something other than icicle lights. These have stars of different sizes and at different lengths with other lights in between. I have never seen anything like this. The soft light really is a soft light. They are really nicely packaged (lay them out on the floor to sort them out; if you start from the plug and work to the other end then they are easy to unravel.) They stay on your chosen setting even if you unplug them. The length of the cord from the lights to the wall is super long so you don’t have lights trailing along the wall! The length is just perfect for a standard sized patio door. Cons I haven’t found any Cons (but I just hung them up, so the jury is still out). Great purchase!! ... show more

I really wanted to love these and use them as part my Christmas decorations. However, the sets I received do NOT connect as advertised, some of the stars are strung incorrectly, and one set acts like it has a short, which makes me hesitant to plug them in again. I decided to return them since they aren’t what I expected and some sets were defective (I bought five sets). Imagine my surprise when I printed the return shipping label and it showed I have to ship them to a China at my expense! Um the shipping label on my box shows they were shipped to me from a Washington address. Why am I sending them to China at my expense? Even though Amazon told me they would reimburse me the return shipping, it is not worth the expense (over double what I paid for these) and I am suspicious I’d never see my refund anyways. Lesson learned. From this point on, I will always check a seller’s info. I checked other sellers of these stars and found all of them are Chinese sellers who claim USA storefronts. Quite the scam. Sell defective products and hope the buyer won’t want to pay the upfront, exorbitant cost to return the item to China. ... show more

I bought these for Christmas to hang in our window that faces the road. They weren’t tangled out of the box, but did require some effort to get them all laid out. I definitely didn’t package them as carefully as the seller so I’m worried next year at Christmas what I did to myself! Lol My kids loved these. Our youngest would go over the window and gaze up at them. Family visited and said they intended to get a string too. Easy to hang and I liked they had dangling stars. I hung these in my dark office. They are white lights and bright enough to be helpful but not annoying. They have different settings: fast blink, something akin to twinkling, fade pattern, etc. I love the long cord prior to the start of the lights. A certain big box store sells paper lantern string lights whose lights begin about 2 inches from the plug - it leaves you with a long line of lights going up the wall which totally ruins the Feng Shui. The one downfall was unwrapping and untwisting the lights after pulling them out of the box. It was 15 min of frustration for 2 adults. Felt like I was trying to fix a twisted spool of fishing line. Other than that, I really like these lights. I am considering purchasing more, but I've not decided if the package frustration is worth it. ... show more
