  • Good value
Very nice. THis is my second winter using. I live in a very high wind area, and it has performed wonderfully after being tied down with extra ties. Would not recommend the tie down system it comes with. We use spiral sakes and tie down straps. It has survived 2 hurricanes and a couple of tropical storms with no damage. ... show more

  • Great Portable Greenhouse
I bought this greenhouse to grow southern plants in Northern NY and try to extend my growing season. I have only had it for a few months, but so far it's been perfect for what I needed. I only gave it four stars, because of little things like the window covers don't all match up to their velcro claspes, and the inside velcro claspes for the cover don't all match up. It definitely could have been made a little better, but for the price, it is a really great item. Aside from that, the two doors have been the best feature. I was worried about temperature control and basic air flow, and the option of having both doors open is great. Typical temperatures in my area are 70-80 degrees during the day but it cools down at night. I am able to keep the temperature during the day always warm, and if the wind is too strong in one direction, I can close up one door and still keep the temperature where I need it. It doesn't hold the temperature at night, so it's whatever the outside temperature is, but having the cover over them still provides protection from the wind or driving rain that might damage the plants. I do wish there were openings in the roof, because then I could let the natural rain fall on all the plants instead of having to water them by hand. I'm not sure how well this will extend my growing season, but so far it's been a great purchase. ... show more

  • Light weight frame failed in 15 mph winds
Initial installed delated while waiting for replacement parts due broken spot welds. Good use through summer fall but first wind in December at less than 20 mph resulted in multiple join failures. One good point, the cover survived

  • Connecting Parts do not line up
We purchased two of these green houses, save your money and buy a more expensive brand! In both green houses several key connections 3-4 each green house did not line up and no matter how we tried! My husband had to put duc tape around to secure!

  • Overall a good product
I've had this product for a year. It held up well to the summer heat and to winds. Some damage from the winter snow. I contacted customer service and they shipped the damaged pieces within a day or two. A week later I rebuilt it, and found that they had shipped two of the wrong pieces. I contacted them about it, and heard nothing, but a few days later the correct pieces came in the mail! It's not super heavy duty, so I would be careful about snow and heavy winds. Otherwise, for a light to medium weight greenhouse, it's pretty good. ... show more

  • Exceeded my expectations
Easy setup with clear instructions. Great ventilation! In the past, with other greenhouses, I've always had to fight mold problems, but not this past winter. Fabric is very durable and construction is good quality. Excellent customer service also. I managed to bend a couple of poles in a windstorm when I left the door unzipped - would probably not have happened if it had been closed up - as I said - very well constructed. Anyway - the instruction book said send them an email - which I did - and I had a very prompt answer from Heather offering me a more than reasonable replacement option - again - something that I've never had with previous greenhouses from other makers. I would say that Quictent is a company that has decided to be the best on all fronts. ... show more

  • I think it's a knock-off
My mother in law, who is an avid gardener and sells cut flowers, recommended the quictent greenhouse. The quictent website was sold out so I went to Amazon. When it arrived there was a piece of the frame that was deformed. The company quickly replaced the part for no charge so that was positive, but the window pieces were misaligned and didn't fully close. Freezing air easily gets in and froze some of my plants that were near the ill-fitting windows. Zippers aren't great quality. Lastly, I read the reviews before purchasing and one customer suggested building a frame to support the flimsy aluminum frame, which I did. The wind and heavy rains would've definitely crushed the greenhouse if I hadn't built the extra frame. The money I spent on wood for the extra framing may have made the purchase less worth its cost. ... show more
