I have hated my Dyson Pet Vacuum since the day I bought it. It was loud, didn't have any lights on the head, and the head wouldn't pick up little rocks. Turns out I don't hate my Dyson just the stupid head attachment. I ordered this attachment just for the lights and wasn't sure how it would work in my house as we have 6 dogs. They are not all in the house all the time but the lab, heeler and lab mix are. That is A LOT of hair. I have used this brush attachment every day for a couple of weeks now and I have not had a single problem! The green lights took a minute to get used to but they sure help in seeing the hair! The head is a lot quieter than the clunky Dyson and to me actually seems to rotate under furniture better. I haven't had any hair get clogged or wrapped around the brush. Works great IMO!

Overall, it works well and is compatible, as stated. I've used this to clean my entire house twice, and here is my takeaway: 1. On hard flooring, it cleans better than the original. Yes, better. What takes two or three passes with the original attachment takes one, maybe two with this. Its excellent on hard flooring. 2. On carpet, it does so so. It not height adjustable and it does not "dig" into the carpet as much as the original. It will pick up dirt on carpet, but not as well as it could. 3. The LED lights are green, yes, green. Not sure why. 4. It is very, very easy to clean (much easier than the original). Overall, more pros than cons, especially if you have a lot of hard flooring (then its an easy "Yes" as a replacement). If you have more carpeting, you may want to look elsewhere and find something that is adjustable.

This Dyson brush head replacement attachment does fit my Dyson V8 perfectly. However, it's bulky with big wheels on it that get in the way. It doesn't pick up well. And yes the lights are green like pictured. I'm not sure why they didn't go with basic white LEDS. I personally don't care for it and won't be using it unfortunately.

Fits the target device as expected, including electrical connections. Brush spins quietly, but picks up dust and debris well. Quick release snaps on and off securely.

Part does not fit V15 detect. Seems like a quality Motorhead but I can't use it.
