Hat came and the rear of brim was bent. I boiled a pot of water, used the steam to warm it up and formed it so it's normal and fixed. Has a plastic smell to it when I opened and was stronger while steaming. I question it being straw, more plastic feeling. I can get an Ariat straw for $40 but not in black so wanted to try this one. I wear a 7 1/4 and the large fits well. It's an elastic band. So over all, don't expect a high quality hat, but it's fine for the money ---- steam will fix the creases, be patient ... show more

Reading some reviews I was a little scared to purchase, but I needed a cowboy hat asap cause I’m going to a rodeo and didn’t want to spend a lot of money on one . So I jumped the gun and just bought shipping was fast and I’m really happy that I bought it hat was in perfect condition and fit like a glove purchased small/medium. This hat is crap and looks nothing like the pictures and delivers nothing it promises. No Airflow ports, no inner liner, nothing. This is a $30 Party City hat. It doesn’t feel durable at all, the material feels like it’s going to peel off the hat at any moment and I wouldn’t get this thing within a mile of water or do any labor or physical activity in it. The shape is barely acceptable but the hat is so firm there’s no molding it. It’s completely uncomfortable and feels just as cheap as it looks the moment you put it. I asked Amazon to reach out to the company to confirm this cheap ripoff of what’s promised was the actual item but I guess the company never answered them. Is advertised as: Elastic, Canvas, Felt, and Straw. The hat is plastic to the touch. The style looks good, but the material is not what I expected. I thought I was getting better quality by spending a bit more.

Great cowboy hat that gets regular use on our family farm with cattle. My son wears this on a daily basis and loves it! We've had many hats over the years and this is a good one that looks similar to our more expensive ones, this is great quality!
