I ordered up a size. I don't like anything' I wear to tight. They fit very comfortable with a loose fit. The material is so soft and with deep pockets in front. I will probably air dry them after a good wash. I ordered 4 different colors, which are very bright. And I want the color to stay bright as long as possible. So will keep out of dryer. I wish they had more colors to choose. A great product and value.

Tl;dr: These are made for curves, the manufacturer hit it out of the park for folks with curves, and gives us real pockets! But they need better quality control. First the good. These shorts are comfortable and surprisingly flattering with a shirt hiding the waist. The fit is true to the size chart. Yes, I know the chart is hard to believe, but the numbers are right. These are made for those of us with disproportionately narrow waists relative to the size of our hips/thighs. They're cut for curves! Athletic ladies who don't skip leg day, these are for you. I absolutely adore the way that these are cut, it is extremely difficult to find any kind of bottoms that are cut for such a large size difference between hip/thigh and waist. The fantastic fit for someone with my kind of proportions is what brought these up from 2 stars to 3. To the manufacturer: Please oh please never change this, I'll be looking for your other products purely because of this. The fabric is soft and comfortable. While I would prefer them to have a lower waist as these definitely have a high-rise waist, (I like mid-rise) that is a matter of personal preference. The pockets are large and can hold my iPhone 15 Pro with space to spare. The fabric is light, yet thick enough that you don't have to worry about them going see-through in a squat. They are stretchy and do not impede movement in any way. Now the not so good. My #1 concern is even after multiple washes there is a funny chemical/rubbery smell to the waistband. The smells largely washed out of the rest of the fabric. I do not recommend these for anyone with sensitivities to smells. The other major cause of concern is that these are poorly sewn. The waistband is not evenly sewn which stands out rather dramatically without a shirt hiding it. Due to the stretchy nature of the fabric if you have anything of weight in the pockets they sag in a way that is pretty obvious. But I'll still happily take that over useless small pockets. For fit context I'm wearing a size large (I'm normally a large or xl in bottoms) and have a 33in waist, 43in hips, and 26in thighs at their thickest point.
