Easy to put this on him as he steps in, and then it zips up the back. The fleece lining is a huge plus for the cold New England winters. It closes right around his neck with adjustable toggles. Absolutely love this waterproof jacket for my puppy corgi! It’s pretty easy to put on and take off. Attached Harness is extremely helpful, basically that was the reason why I ordered exactly this one. It has good thickness and feels warm. Zipper is strong and durable. I took small for 16-17 weeks corgi, it fits perfectly. Definitely will order Medium for next season.

I was really happy with the quality of this coat. The faux shearling lining will make it extra cozy and warm for my dog in the winter. It is also easy to get my dog into it. The built in harness is super convenient. My dog is a 16 lb chihuahua mix with a long body due to the dachshund in him. The size medium fits perfectly and is long enough to cover his entire back. There is a little toggle at the neck to make it a bit smaller if need be. (For size or to limit draught)

I do not feel this coat is worth $40. I think a more appropriate value would be around $28-$32 max. The inside is sherpa-like, but thinner than expected and a bit scratchy. I am sure it provides warmth, but I do not think it would protect from "real" cold. We have a 25lb whippet mix - short hair so he gets cold easily. I will use this for any temps under 55-60. If we were going to be in lower temps, I would want something warmer. It would probably be better for a breed with longer and/or thicker hair. It is easy to use. Our pup has been through trauma, and we are still working to build trust. I avoid buying anything that goes over his head. The step-in style is great for that and the zipper slides smoothly. The zipper does have difficulty staying closed at the top portion, however. I appreciate the built-in harness. If the weather calls for the coat (more accurately, jacket), we do not have to put on both the harness and coat. Convenient and efficient. The built-in harness is adjustable, though not as adjustable as a regular harness so pay attention to the measurements. Our dog is not thrilled about clothing, but he could walk without hinderance and did not see uncomfortable regarding mobility. His measurements were at the top end of the Medium range (his chest is 20.8in). We certainly could not have gone smaller. But I was concerned about going larger and it not fitting snugly. This does fit snugly, and I assume that helps hold in body heat. It does appear to be made well. The exterior fabric feels nice, and I like that the collar comes up around his neck. The coat doesn't get pulled down around his shoulders and provides cover over his neck, chest, sides, and back. I vacillated between three and four stars, but felt, overall, it earns four.

Love this coat & I’m pretty sure my Macy girl does too! She’s 17 lbs with a single hair coat. Had 2 other coats for her but she was shivering outside in them. This one keeps her warm. She steps right into it. It’s easy to zip up. Love the built in harness. Love that the part over her butt doesn't fly up in the wind as other coats do. Medium fit her perfectly. Word to manufacturer…Would love it even more if the harness also had a hook underneath in the front in addition to on top. That’s what stops many dogs from pulling on the leash.

Luke looks like a king. I'll need to get him a crown. He's got a little more growing to do, but the straps will adjust. Awesome that rings for the leash are included. He's 9.3 lbs and 10 months old. I got him a small. It's well made and seems warm.

This is a great product. As described and importantly covers my mini bulldog who has challenging dimensions -- short body, wide chest. Fit is perfect and easy to slip on and off. It's snug and moves well with an active dog. I like the harness straps and zipper along the back. Very convenient.
