Update: company contacted me and gave me an option to either get replacement parts or a partial refund. They are standing by their product. Just put it together. It took me about 3 hours by myself. First, the pros... It's sturdy. The hardware is well labeled. It's a good price. The design is good and intuitive. Most of the pieces line up well. Now the cons... It has one super thin coat of paint! I'm not kidding. You can totally see the sprayer only did 1 pass for a single thin coat. I'm going to have to paint this thing. They make it of solid wood or plywood with the exception of the barn door panels. They are made of fiber board, and it came chipped! Let's be real here. You start unpacking this and notice it, you're not going to be able to pack it back up to ship it back, nor are you going to want to go through that hassle. The instructions are not horrible, but they don't give you warnings like, "make sure the front stiles are faced the right way or the knobs won't screw on right, and you'll have to take it apart to fix." It's like bad Lego instructions in black and white... You're not going to be able to tell on some things how it's oriented because there's not enough detail/wording. Take a look through my pictures. You'll see the quality of the finish job. For the price of it with shipping, I wouldn't purchase again. I'm disappointed. I really wanted to like it. It looks so good in the pictures. I do wood working, and I debated building my own, but I don't have the time. Looks like I'm still going to do some finish work I didn't have time for.

This Murphy Bed we purchased is very impressive. Made out of real wood & very well designed. Some of the images in the instructions were not as clear as I needed to really understand which way to turn a piece to mount parts of it. And the paint job is really not that good in coverage. But overall we are very pleased with the outcome of the build & it does look awesome in the bedroom.

This is a great solution for a multipurpose space. Assembly instructions could have been better but with a little thought, it comes together nicely. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the mattress was included as others stated that it wasn't. Construction is decent, especially for the price. This unit is hundreds more on Wayfair.

Building this was quite the fete, assembly is not very user friendly. That being said, now that it’s built, we love it. We had to sleep on it for a week when we moved to a new house before our furniture arrived. Pop an additional mattress pad on it, and you’ll be just fine. Great for a guest room. Very pretty design.

You have to be intuitive with the instructions, they are just pictures and not always easy to decipher. One thing we did figure out with the locking cams is that the locking screws have a blue plastic sheath that needs to be slid to the top of the screw to have the cam grab ahold of it. *as pictured on the right* So you will need to do this with every screw.
