After the Silkokoon sheets arrived, they went straight into the wash with some other clothes I'd worn during the week. Then, they were dried in the dryer. Every little hair and piece of lint clings to these sheets. I took them outside and shook them out and that helped. That's the only downside. I have a 14" thick king mattress. The sheets fit perfectly. That's a plus. The better part is that they're so incredibly soft and silky. It's not the satin silk where sheets and pillows slide off because they're too slick. These are just silky microfiber that doesn't make you sweaty or uncomfortable. They let air pass. They just feel butter-soft to the touch, which I love from the sheets I'm in all night. ... show more

I'm not sure I'd consider these luxury hotel quality sheets but I'm not a sheet expert by any means. Certainly not complaining, just find these to be great daily use pretty regular sheets. Soft, neither thick or thin, very good sized and saturated deep black. Doesn't collect lint or fur very easy, is a very fine soft microfiber. Great for any time of the year, comfortable and did not run in the wash although I do use cold water so. Breathable! Very important to me because I run hot when I sleep and don't want to wake up sweating or uncomfortable, which is not at all an issue with these. Perhaps the slightest of sheen. Pillow cases were longer by several inches than standard pillow cases. Recommend for anyone, very widely usable. ... show more

The nice thing about microfiber sheets (for those that don’t like it) is that they aren’t too cold and aren’t too hot. These sheets seem to breath well and are comfortable to climb into after a long days work. I like the deep corner pockets on the fitted sheet, fits over my mattress and topper both with room to spare.
