After years of using quad lock I got tired of paying for a new case every time I had a new phone. Ended up with all kind of holders, with rubber bands, jaws and other features. They all were clumsy or lousy quality, like stripping plastic screws, etc. After my phone dropped after a bump in the road I decided to go back to quad lock. Never ever had an operational problem, however I am not happy with the fact that they did not go where the rest of the industry is going. Color! Who wants the boring black, a color you can’t find in your house or in a bag. Bring colors! McLaren did it right with the back being straight, bravo. The old version was horrible for normal use with that bump in the middle. A heads up for McLaren for introducing the magnetic back, so I can charge the phone with the case on. Now two more suggestions for the next generation of cases, a stand built in and a model with a neoprene type of material on the outside so it does not slip out of your hand or slide off a surface you put it for a quick time. All in all, happy to be back with quad lock, even if I have to peel of the case every time I come home to put color back on. ... show more
