The hood struts didn't work on a 2012 Chrysler 300c I just bought. I was pleasantly surprised with the price and quality of these hood struts I bought to replace them. They come with clear instructions on how to remove the old struts and replace them. They fit perfectly and work really well. It took me about 3 minutes to replace them. The hood shoots all the way up very quickly. It's weird seeing the speed of new struts since my other car is over 30 years old. I highly recommend this product. They really are easy to install (need small flat head screwdriver and someone to hold the hood up). The best part is they are stronger than the OEMs from my memory.
