Simply put it installs in less than 5 minutes and it works fantastic! I've had it on for 2 months I've never had a dead battery since! if you sit with your car idling after driving wherever when you turn your car off it makes a loud whine/beep noise until it cools back off and you cant turn it off or on till it stops

I installed this unit on one of my vehicles that i drive only a few times per month. I had been using a manual quick disconnect clamp, but the convenience of THIS digital remote unit is a TOTAL game changer! I couldn't be more pleased!!! I was able to install it within 15 minutes, and THAT included the time it required me to get my toolbox out. Only required a few basic / standard tools in order to connect it. I give this unit a total thumbs-up ! UPDATE: After several months of use, i noticed a continuous "buzzing" tone coming from under the hood shortly after i parked my vehicle. Ooened the hood, and found the unit was the source of the sound. Unit was VERY hot to the touch. Could NOT use the manual "off" button to turn the unit off. It finally stopped once the engine compartment was allowed to cool. My limousine does a lot of idling, and with no airflow under the hood, it appears that the u it will QUICKLY overheat. Will try and find a new location to mount it, AWAY from the stagnant heat of the engine, using a set of custom "extension" battery cables. Will require some moderate alterations to accomplish this task. ... show more

We’ve had this for 2 months and it’s been working fine until this week both of the remotes stopped connecting, they’re batteries are fine I think something in the device shorted out that receives the signal. Also the device did not fit my duralast battery, it stays under the back seat so i had to turn all of the bolts upside down to fit. Is there a way to exchange mine for a new one since I believe it’s defective? It does work still by pressing the button on the device itself though. ... show more
