I had several tin yard art pieces to secure to the ground, and these stakes were perfect. Long enough to provide a solid hold, and the pointed end easily went into the Florida sandy soil ground. I've been using these stakes in Florida weather for a few months now. I use bungee cords from the stakes to to a tarp that covers my kid's pool.
