The wallpaper has way more contrast between the gold damask pattern and the background. Only the pattern is gold and its a very dark gold, its shiny but not reflective. The background is more of a beige color and has a neat texture to it. Its not exactly what I expected but it is absolutely beautiful! Very very high quality for the price and trust me I looked everywhere for the cheapest price. 80 dollars to cover 100 square feet of wall is pretty great. I'm moving into my new house on August 20th and the shipping information said it would arrive on the 22nd so I expected to not have it before moving in.
