The media could not be loaded. This is one of the best things I have purchased in a long time! Even though it looks like a simple tool, it does an amazing job. For us, that adore our furry pets and still like our homes “fur free”, this is a necessity. The dark furniture on the photo has been vacuumed and cleaned with everything we had. I have four dogs and four cats.... We deal with a lot of hair! I bought this because I am constantly on the search for a good hair removing tool. This one works very well on one of my couches that is cloth. It doesnt work at all on my suede couch. Not the tool's fault- it just is too slick of a surface for anything to really be taken off? When I use this tool on ANYTHING (including clothing) it collects hair, in the sense that per stroke, at the end of your stroke- there is this lifted line of hair you can pick up and toss away. I have purchased several products to help with pet hair, none of them work on everything. This item does work on most things and works great with much less elbow grease. I used to use the slicker brush on the cat tower and their fuzzy blanket before I washed it. It is fantastic on my soft chair cover, which seems to get the most hair balls. This item does the job without snagging anything. It doesn't appear to work well on the nylon polyester door rugs, which are ribbed. I was very pleased with this purchase ... show more

This pet hair remover has some kind of wire wrapped around the end. If you’re using it on some very durable fabric, you’ll be fine, but do not use it on anything without testing in an inconspicuous spot first, I have a pottery barn couch, which is very durable and this scratched up the fabric. I have a cut velvet couch in another room and it worked fine, so I think that you should not use it on a closed loop fabric. ... show more

I cleaned my two cat towers first. I could not believe how much cat hair was on those. I also had a few places on my carpet where the cats threw up. I had picked it up at the time, but you could see the place where it happened because I hadn’t cleaned it up perfectly. I used the tool on the spot and it came up as dust. Then I vacuumed the spot and it was gone. I have small rugs in spots where the cats like to sleep. I used the tool on the rugs before I washed them. The pet hair was picked up and when the rugs were washed, they were perfect and not much cat hair was stuck in the washing machine. Highly recommended. ... show more
