I am 5’2” and usually wear 16/18 and buy a lot of my clothes from Amazon. I have been ordering pants and can wear L-XXL so I try to read the reviews and look at pics to figure out the best size. But he reviews helped me so much know I needed an XL. I ordered an XL in these despite Amazon telling me I should order XXL, and the XL fit great. I got these for traveling and will be doing a lot of walking in my all black Hokas, so I wanted something cute but plain that didn’t make me look old and fat, and these are perfect and better than I thought they would be. I can pull them up at the ankle just a tad so some of my ankle shows so I don’t look so athletic looking. The pocket on the side doesn’t stick out or make my legs look bigger than they are (I have muscular legs). The elastic waistband is smocked and high wasted so it won’t roll down over my C-section stomach I will never lose lol. So these pants are winners!! Important: No Side Pockets! The pockets are on the thigh & couldn't possibly hold much of anything without weighing the pants down or falling out of the pocket! They are very comfortable & lightweight for summer, 95% rayon & 5% spandex. We got the black & they are not see through at all! HEY AMAZON: Do a better job of listing fabric content &/ showing the fabric better in pictures! You could add a magnification glass, so we could really get to see the fabric! If we can't touch it, then we really must be able to see it up close. Also, you could add filters to your clothing search; I do NOT want ANY clothes that are made from polyester! I am going to be 70 in a few months but I still like to dress nicely but also comfortably, I now have two of these pants, the material is soft and feel comfortable against the skin, the tag does say dry clean but I washed it in cold water gentle cycle and hung them to dry and that worked fine for me. What is nice is you can wear them at home but also go shopping or to a doctors appointment with them on depending what top you choose with it. ... show more

My expectations are usually very low with online purchases, so when something comes from on line purchase & is good, I’m joyous! These pants are very light weight, but not sheer, very flattering, I’m 5’9”, 220lbs, I bought a size 3x. The side pockets, worried me, but I can’t even tell they are there. These pants are better than I would’ve imagined. The material is wrinkle free, soft, bold colors & all around more than I could have asked for prior to purchasing. I love these pants... I loved my first pair so much that I ordered the "Red Plaid"... Which turned out to be more of a brown-ish mauve Plaid. In bright lights it's mauve... In normal lights it's got more of a brown tint to it. I'm not really into this type of color so I'm returning them. I'll buy a different print instead. UPDATE: I purchased 2 more of these pants. One is the solid gray and the other is the Elephant print. I ordered the same size for both pants but the gray pants are significantly larger in the waist. It's fine but it was definitely surprising that there was approximately a 1.5" difference. ... show more

Run true to size, easy care wash and dry, look nice, and quite the bargain especially when they go on sale for $18+. I have six pairs and definitely recommend them. Another plus, I am short waisted and the wide elastic waist band allows me to roll it over so the crotch doesn’t hang.
