Considering the shelves are made out of pressboard, they are surprisingly sturdy! From a far they look like real thick wood. Hanging them is not too difficult, but does require drilling nine holes into your wall… They hold a good amount of weight. I was able to get them up within 20 minutes or less. Needed the perfect shelves for our guest bathroom and these are it. You can tell they are not real wood close up, but still look great and are exactly what I was looking for. Easy to install. The directions are straight forward. They seem sturdy enough too. I love them!
