I'm 42 years old and only just started taking care of my skin in December 2021. After three months of consistent skin care, I was just starting to see results. Then this product came along. It's my first foray into Korean beauty. I'm not lying when I say two weeks of using this has given me faster results than 3 months of serums and moisturizers! I would not describe this product as moisturizing. It seals in moisture and your other products. It has a honey like consistency so I pat it gently in for a few minutes then run gently until I feel it's mostly applied. It remains tacky for quite a while but makes and excellent sleeping mask with your favorite moisturizer underneath. I have never felt my skin feel this soft! This has also brightened my complexion and made me skin feel less textured. I have normal to combination skin with occasional breakouts but this gel has actually helped my breakouts heal a little fast. Hasn't done too much in terms of hyperpigmentation from old acne but it generally brightens and makes my skin feel great, so smooth and hydrated. Makeup goes on with no issues. I don't really even need or want to use a primer with this. I really like to use the Skinfix barrier cream or Pacifica vegan ceramides barrier cream under this. Hours later, I still can't stop touching my face because it's so soft. Even my husband has commented that maybe he should try my methods!

This calming gel is amazing, the application is tricky, you have to spread it in a single motion and pad it into the skin, you need patience and time to put this on but once you master it it’s grate for sensitive skin. I use it to avoid the dryness and flakiness that my acne treatment does and works so well, it calms and refresh my skin. I love the ingredients, and it works for my combination skin with acne and very dry cheeks thanks to the retinoids I use. It doesn’t brake me out , doesn’t let my face greasy, at first gives a shine and glow finish but it absorbs with a little time . I use it like a sleep mask and in the morning my skin looks hydrated and balanced. I really have to repeat that the application is very tricky, it’s like honey consistency, it’s not easy, but for me is worth it and I really like it.

Face oils tend to break me out but I kept using them because I really wanted a nice seal over my dehydrated face after the end of my p.m. routine. Then I saw this reviewed on YouTube and decided to try it. You HAVE to apply it correctly: by patting (don't rub or you'll hate this). There is an instant cooling effect, and you can feel the hydration sitting on your skin, sealing everything in. There is a slightly sticky finish, but I use this at night, so I don't mind. The milk vetch is antimicrobial and antioxidative, so it's healing for the skin and helps reduce acne. This easily replaced facial oils for me and my breakouts have greatly subsided. Definite repurchase.

Every winter my normal-oily skin becomes dry and dehydrated with the cold and constant heat so I am always hunting for the one moisturizing and occlusive product to seal in all the goodness and moisture from products I have applied to my skin. This is it, definitely will be a staple in my winter skincare routine and I will come back to it every winter. It is thick and sticky at first so definitely pat. I use three pea-sized dots and pat pat pat it all around my face, leaving my oiliest T-zone and delicate eye skin area to last. So far I have been waking up to most bouncy and nourished skin as I ever had this winter. I also use this during the day since it dries down to a satiny matte finish with a little stickiness which IMO the perfect base for makeup. Love the smaller sized squeeze tube, I think it's a great size for winter use as I don't see myself using this during the summer and I dislike having products sitting on a shelf for 3-6 months. Plus, squeezing this gel out is the way to go, dislike the tub for this texture.

This stuff is awesome! First let me say that if you haven't already, take a little stroll over to youtube and watch a video about how to apply this because if you don't you are going to get a mess and think your product is screwed up. It's not hard to apply or anything but you don't rub it in, you pat it in. If you rub it, the product is not going to move around. PSA over back to the review. I've been wanting to try this stuff a while because I loved the Pyunkang Yul toner so much. This stuff is almost hard to describe because it's so different. It comes out really viscous and almost honey like. But once you pat it in it absorbs really fast and dries down to a really nice finish. If you are like me you have about 35 products you slather onto your face at the end of the night. This is perfect for that because it kind of seals everything in and keeps it from destroying your pillowcase. Seriously, I had a pretty hefty coating of marula oil on my face and put this on top and my face no longer felt oily at all. It's immediately cooling but not like it has menthol, more like it's been in the fridge. I have uber sensitive skin and this was so gentle and just overall felt really amazing. I got this as a once in a while treatment but I'm now using it every single night at the end of my routine. Well worth the price.

I like that you don't have to use a lot of product. A little goes a long way. It's non-scented, so no overwhelming smell to overcome. Best of all, it makes your face feel smooth as a baby's bottom! You wouldn't expect that since it comes out as a gel. I highly recommend this product!
