  • Very Happy with the Pyramid Rising Bowling Ball
Color: Blue/Dark Blue Size: 13 LB
Very happy with this bowling ball. The first time I used it I scored 10 pins over my average. Has a real nice hook, I had more strikes in 3 games than I had in 6 prior games. Love this ball.

  • Great Starter Ball!
Color: 1-Black/Silver Size: 14 LB
Excellent STARTER bowling ball. Curves well and I received many compliments on the beauty of it. I call mine the Silver Surfer. I’ve only had mine for a few weeks and I’ve already bowled a couple of 200+ games. Good to start with before you move into better more expensive balls.

  • Great product but little hook
Color: Blue/Dark Blue Size: 15 lb
Overall I think this is a great ball for people who are beginning to bowl with reactive balls. However, I have had considerable trouble getting this ball to hook properly, and the oil pattern on the ball following a throw is not smooth or always predictable. There are several lines of oil emanating from a single point on the ball instead of one solid ring. I have bowled with other reactive balls and did not have this happen. Of course, I am not going to say that this is because of the ball. Maybe the drilling was not quite right, or maybe I'm not throwing a hook right. Or maybe I did not purchase an out-of-the-box condition ball as I intended. Either way, my pro shop claimed to have drilled it for a decent hook but the ball really skids through the breakpoint and has considerable trouble finding traction. My flare seems to be somewhere between 4 and 6 boards for most throws. One last point. The out-of-box cover is claimed to be 1500 grit abralon on the website, but mine is 2000 grit. I don't know enough about this to determine if this is the reason for my lack of reaction. Maybe it is. I will have the pro shop look into it. Hope this helps and good luck bowling! ... show more

  • Great Price for Great Performance
Color: Purple/Steel Blue Size: 10 LB
Bought this ball for my girlfriend for her first ball. At time of purchase I was wary of the reviews for the purple/steel blue color, but my girl really wanted that color, and I am very satisfied with my Pyramid Antidote, so I pulled the trigger on the 10 pounder. Ball was at my door 3 days later and it turns out she loves the color, so my only concern was thus put at ease. Brought it to the lanes even though it wasnt drilled yet. I throw a 15 pound ball and ive adopted a 2 hand release at about 375rpm ~13mph so I decided I could easily throw a 10 without any holes. Grabbed it for a pin up CG flared out released around board 5 towards middle arrow. Skidded straight and very neatly moved back into the pocket for a strike. My buddies were making fun of me using my girlfriends ball, but the joke was on them!! Path Rising has a great, dependable movement, and at $75, im thinking about adding one of these pearls to my bag! ... show more
