    • Great for Crafts, but Handle With Caution (and Maybe Gloves)
I received this 24-pack of sublimation MDF boards for free as part of the Amazon Vine program, and they definitely have potential. The size is generous, the cork backing is a nice touch, and they work well with my laser cutter. When the blanks arrived, I was excited to start customizing them—but then I noticed a few had already picked up some scratches right out of the box. The surface is very glossy, which looks great at first, but it turns out that even a hard glance might leave a mark. Okay, maybe not literally—but close. These boards are just a bit too delicate for my liking. If you're working on projects where perfection matters, you'll need to baby them before and after printing. I now treat them with the same care I give to my phone screen after dropping it once—paranoid and overly gentle. That said, for hobby projects, gifts, or light-use items like decorative coasters, they still work well and look quite sharp once finished. Just be ready for a little surface fragility and maybe invest in a microfiber cloth… or a force field. ... show more
