driver is exactly what i was wanting. driver comes with the project x riptide cb 50 6.0 for stiff might be a little light for some people.

I've been a golfer for 40 years. Prior to this, I've used inexpensive golf clubs of the quality you might find at Walmart or Kmart. Once I retired, I decided that I deserved to splurge a little for some higher quality gear. WOW! I never expected this much of a difference. You really DO get what you pay for. I have now played 5 rounds of golf using my new PXG 0311 Black Ops driver. First, it's a really good looking club with a black head with minimal markings and a nice blue shaft. It has a nice grip and a great head cover that is magnetic and can be stuck to your putter or other iron while you are using it. For me, it is just as forgiving on off center hits as my former driver made by a big name company. Yesterday I was able to get several "on the money" strikes off the tee box and I can say that I am getting at least five more yards with this club. I think that PXG will get to be a better known brand in the future. ... show more
