The child wanted to learn to skateboard and we picked this board as a starter. It has taken a beating like any just learning sports equipment does. As a former skater long ago I made some simple truck adjustments for easier turns. We then started the learning process. It's holding up fine for the price. She is learning the basics of balance and movement. No tricks, no air, no rail riding, just the basics. I would recommend getting the edge protector and a good set of full skating pads. I read other reviews and they all said how it came chipped or scratched. That was the first thing i looked for and i saw nothing. it comes pre-built and comes with a bag with all things needed to loosen wheels and what not which is very helpful because my wheels came tight it's an easy fix. It feels pretty sturdy and i 100% recommend it to beginners or anyone who just enjoys skateboarding. I think it was 100% worth the price. Just be careful and have fun ... show more

The packaging was next to impossible to remove. You have to take the wheels off to get it all. Bottom was scratched up. Would not recommend.
