That said, our dogs ripped it right out of the zip ties and off the metal fence because we did not have the foresight to tie it to the opposite side of the fence. So - note to self - tie this to the outside so they cannot tear it down! The fencing survived, the zip ties did not.

I have been putting plastic fences around small trees. All of them have been planted in the last 2 years. Yes! Some of them came as sticks from the national organization that inspires people to plant trees. Without protection, they would be food for rabbits, deer, etc.. They could also be chopped off by the guy who mows my yard. This metal fencing is a much better product to protect my little trees. Much more secure. Thumbs Up. ... show more

Gambled a bit on this since I haven't ordered fencing from the site before, but it ended up being exactly what I had needed. It is currently patching holes in my goat fencing where wooden boards came down and can't be repaired until spring. It's a good construction, coated metal so it doesn't cut the hands or rust like normal fencing. I'm not convinced you couldn't find a better deal at a local farm store, but when I needed something quick and didn't have my car available to drive everywhere, this came quickly. ... show more

Over the years I have purchased many rolls of this type of PVC coated wire. This roll of wire I was sent to review, was one of the first rolls of this type of wire that I received in such good shape. A big "Thank you" to the company for packing it so safely. The roll I received seemed to be accurate in length. The wire was well-coated with black PVC. I did not find any breaks, crushed areas, or uncoated areas in the wire I received. Great roll of quality wire. I have llamas, and they are gentle on fences. So with this 3-foot tall wire, I'm trying something a little different. Most of my fencing is 4 feet tall and touches the ground. I'm using this 3-foot roll in an area of llama pasture next to the 4-foot fencing. Only, I'm raising this 3-foot fencing one foot off of the ground. The top will be level with the other 4-foot fence, but the llamas will be able to graze under the fencing. My hope is this will make mowing easier next to the wire fences. I'll be building a permanent enclosure for my bunnies next spring but I wanted them to have some yard space over the winter and this fencing coupled with some no dig panels was the perfect choice. This is the first time I’ve worked with coated fencing and I felt like it made the fence just a little bit easier to work with and not quite as sharp where it was cut, so that was a nice perk I wasn't expecting. I made a couple 90 degree bends with it around the corners and the welds held up nicely even after finding that my measurements were just a little off so I had to straighten it out and bend it again 2” down. The gauge on this was thick enough to hold its shape with no posts, just zip ties on the no dig panels, which are only 6” high. I was prepared to put in corner posts but was very happy to find that they were unnecessary with this fencing, since this is only a temporary yard. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this for your next project. ... show more

The galvanized welded wire fence on my goat pen is showing its age and beginning to rust. Although this wire lacks the total height I need, I was able to overlap to achieve the desired height. This is the first PVC coated fencing I've tried and only time will tell if it's a better solution for the long term. It certainly seems sturdy enough while remaining easy to cut and nail to the the fence posts. Not sure if the animals will appreciate it but it should keep them in while stopping any wild animals getting in. ... show more
