I got the khaki color and it's not exactly as pictured (it's lighter) but it's still a really pretty color. So far, they seem very comfortable. Also, it's called pointed toe but I'm not sure that description is very accurate. I think it's more rounded than pointed but again, they're still really pretty. Now, as far as the sizing goes, they run a little big. I usually wear an 8.5 with footwear that requires thicker socks (i.e. sneakers and boots) but this 8.5 runs a little big even with think socks. It takes me forever to find the right boot, I’m extremely picky! This is my first time buying them online. I will say I have smaller calf’s and they fit me perfectly!! I do not like mine slouching or having gaps these are perfect and look beautiful. They are definitely durable and are pretty comfortable, might add a little more padding. As far as fitting my feet, it’s a LITTLE bit big, but not a half size and my feet are narrow so I would stick to your normal size or wear thicker socks if needed….maybe the padding will help. Overall they are worth the buy and I’m getting a second color!! ... show more

These boots are phenomenal! I don't think I've ever had a more comfortable boot. The height is perfect, material is great- overall feels well made. I have relatively small but athletic calves, I have a little wiggle room but don't look or feel oversized in that area. Surprisingly, very pleased!

As brick-and-mortar stores are selling less products, I rely on Amazon reviews tremendously to find things I need. Slim calf and rouching boots were on the list, and all reviews led me to these boots! I was not disappointed! The quality is great, and they fit my slimmer calves perfectly. If you have wider calves as other reviews have suggested, I’d pass. As far as sizing, I ordered 8.5 in black and 8 in brown. I was planning to size-up as suggested but other reviews, but there were no 8.5 left in stock for the brown. After walking around the house in both for an hour (one on each foot), I honestly saw no difference. I am a true size 8. With socks, it would be a bit tighter but not uncomfortable. I will most likely rare these gems barefooted or with tights – so, the brown will be fine! Very comfortable. No pain in either size after an hour. If planning to wear with socks, I suggest sizing up ½ size as others have suggested, but no more than that. Hope this helps! ... show more

I am blown away by how much I love these boots!! My husband bought them for me to wear on Valentines Day. They paired so well with my dress! I have worn them for hours at a time and my feet stay comfortable and warm. The 7.5 fits me perfectly; they are true to size. The side zipper makes them so convenient.
