I love these frames! The light color of the wood is just perfect for displaying my colorful prints. I did go to a craft store and purchase an inexpensive mat to bring out the black in my prints. However the frames included a pre cut mat that would work great too. The 16 x 20 size is spot on and I did not have to make any adjustments to the mat or the prints. They are pretty lightweight so hang easily and level. Because my prints are in my foyer and near a door, I place a small dab of molding putty behind the bottom back of the frame and press it to the wall for stability. I get frustrated when I see crooked frames and have to constantly adjust them and this tip works well. ... show more

These wooden frames look great. Unfortunately, the size it's not exactly as shown. Each frame size is 7/8 inch larger in both length and width, and the insides of the matted areas are not standard sizes. The 10 x 14 frame is matted to 7 1/4 x 9 3/8, which means an 8 x 10 won't fit the way you expect. The 8 x 10 Frame is matted down to 5 3/8 x 7 1/2. The 10 x 10 is mattered to 5 7/8 x 5 7/8 the 5 x 7 is matted to 3 1/2 x 5 1/2. ... show more

This 5 x 7 solid oak picture frame arrived on time, and in excellent condition. It was really easy to put the picture in and fits perfectly on our mantel. It looks really nice and durable. The thickness is great, and I am sure it would hang on the wall nicely. Would recommend this solid oak frame.

I’m not really sure why these are rated so high due to the color issue. I ordered a 3 pack of the 16 x 20 natural oak frames. The images on my phone and on my laptop, made the natural oak frame look like a natural oak, which should be somewhere in between a warm to neutral, light to medium tone. These frames are made of RED OAK which has red and pink undertones. I took a couple pictures to show the difference between the red oak photo frames that I received next to one of my own frames which is a natural medium oak, and I also took a photo of one of my barstools next to both frames, which is a honey oak, so you can see the difference in the 3 Oak tones. I would’ve never bought these if I would’ve known that their natural oak is really a red oak. I’m not returning them because they are nice solid frames with excellent fixtures on the back. And the matting is very nice. I’m going to paint the frames black and put them in a different room and then I was originally planning. If your photos and your color scheme in your home works well with red and pink wood undertones than these frames are for you. But if you are looking for a true natural oak, I would not purchase these frames because they will clash with the rest of the Wood in your home. ... show more
