This is an excellent size for a woven beach bag. It is not overly huge, yet it fits plenty. The natural handwoven straw gives it a summery feel. The weave is strong, yet there is room to shake out any sand due to the gaps in the weave. Plus, it has a lightly lined interior with a pocket. The strap and zipper match with woven embellishment and gold trim. I am a bit cautious about using this too roughly only because the straps seem a bit delicate, even though the weave is tough. I think a weak point may be where they attach, so I will limit the weight I put in it just to be careful with the straps. For the beach or out and about in the summer, this is a very lovely bag and seems to be more upscale than most other straw bags I have seen.

I consider myself to be a Beach Bag Tote snob and really appreciate this Kiss Sea durable and luxuriously large shoulder tote bag. This bag is made with Raffia Straw, which comes from the leaves of Raffia trees indigenous to South Africa. I only mention that because Raffia Straw is extremely strong and used in many crafts, including heavy basket weaves. In the past, I have had raffia straw products and they lasted forever. The weave on Kiss Sea's beach tote is very sturdy and lightweight at the same time. I took measurements of this beach tote because it is unusually large. The measurements of the bag I received were actually slightly larger than the measurements described on this Amazon listing. The black tote I received is 18 inches high and 17 inches wide. In the picture which shows the measurements of the bag, it states that the handles of the bag are made from leather. However, the description in the listing refers to PU leather. This may be a bit confusing because PU stands for polyurethane, which is not leather, but a synthetic material that somewhat looks and feels like leather. Even though made from PU leather, the narrow shoulder straps look and feel as smooth and as nice as real leather. The shoulder straps are detailed and have small adjustable gold buckles to get the proper fit and comfort for each individual. Kiss Sea's beach tote is completely lined with 100 percent cotton fabric. This could be a drawback for those of you that throw your wet towel and suit in this beach tote at the end of your day. The cardboard insert in the bottom of the bag (that keeps this bag upright) will probably become wet and soggy and the inner 4 inch by 6 inch cotton pocket where you may have your wallet or other items could become wet as well. Water absorbed into the Raffia Straw will most likely cause this great looking bag to become misshapen. Solution........put a plastic market bag inside this tote for your wet items. One of the features I especially like about this bag, beside the overall wonderful weaving and its size, is the fully zipped top. A zipper is an absolute must when you stuff this beautiful beach tote to capacity. When items spill out onto the beach sand, the smaller things seem to easily get lost. This wonderful bag will serve double duty as an accessory with a Spring or Summer wardrobe, and is great for what it is. On my personal "wish list" for a simple improvement for this bag would be a waterproof lining.

This is a terrific summer bag! The weave is good quality and it works great to bring to the beach and come home without losing anything or bringing sand home. It fits a TON - so much so I’ve used it a couple of times as an overnight bag. Super versatile and a great value.

The media could not be loaded. This classic woven beach bag is sturdy, yet flexible enough to fold up and fit in a suitcase. I traveled with it all over Europe and it maintained its shape and didn’t fade in color or shed at all. Highly recommended for a lightweight and versatile neutral summer wardrobe accessory staple piece that will last season after season.

I ordered this to use on a cruise. The quality is good. It is roomy enough for all of my necessities while going ashore while still being lightweight. The adjustable straps are handy. I attached a cute keyring with seashell and sea turtle charms on the strap as a bit of decoration and it looks great while also giving me a ring to attach things to if I want. Great value! Love it!
