After reading several reviews I decided to try these cube style shelf out. Assembly is pretty straightforward and they even include a “mallet” to help secure the corner pieces together. As you can see from the photos this “mallet” rivals Thor’s hammer. It even came pre-cracked! Some people might say it’s broken, but I call that rustic! So after realizing that this mallet is practically useless aside from making people laugh I decided to put hit the corner pieces with the palm on my hand. Worked out well. Probably better than this fabulous mallet that I might reserve for cracking eggs. Not sure yet because I don’t want to break the mallet. ... show more

The installation is kind of silly. I was hammering and the head of the provided hammer flew off across the room. It's really a pain in the butt to get it all aligned and you practically have to wait for a full moon, and make sure the planets are in the right order just for it to come together. Once it's together it's... meh. It's not sturdy in the least. It's sort of made with coat hanger wires. Imagine if it were made of coat hanger wires and bat wings and you'd have a perfect example of this structure. Like, does it do in a pinch? Sure. It's in my minuscule kitchen closet that can't fit anything but these crazy stacked bat-wing boxes. I put bread and bagels in them, but that's about all they're going to hold. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I needed to replace a bookshelf that couldn’t hold all the books I had. I wasn’t sure how big it would actually be, but I took a chance on it because of the price & I’m happy I did! My first pic is it’s size compared to my TV & entertainment center. My original bookcase was the same height & as deep as the 3 tiered row, so I essentially doubled my storage. I was worried about it handling my heavier books (as I have many) & it holds up well! My second pic is the row where all of my biggest books are, barely any dip! I was surprised because the material seemed thin (& like someone else said, mine was a little dirty/dusty too, but easy to wipe off), but so far so good. Love that it’s customizable, and it wasn’t as hard as I thought to get the stair-step design. It took me almost an hour & a half, but I was setting it up while in my online class so I’m sure it’ll be faster for others. Took a bit of working to figure out how to slide the corner brackets (fyi: the sides go in the slit BEHIND the cross shaped slits!). Instructions weren’t super detailed, but once you get it it’s fairly simple. I actually ended up using the mallet a couple times because I wanted to make sure they were all the way in the brackets to maximize it’s use life. ... show more

Great product! Easy to assemble and very sturdy! I wouldn't recommend anything heavy on each shelf but as for displaying light items, it's wonderful! I definitely recommend this product!

I am very satisfied with this product, it was easy to assemble and is very useful for what I had purchased it for. Plus, with a little imagination, you can arrange it anyway you choose, that suits you. Now, as for sturdiness, I would advise you to be mindful of the description of the product, cause IF you follow the directions and MAKE SURE THAT EVERYTHING IS PROPERLY IN PLACE! you won't have ANY PROBLEMS. Also, and I can't stress this enough, make sure that you DOUBLE CHECK THE CONNECTION POINTS! it have a tendency to become loose while being assembled. Other than that, I would DEFINITELY recommend this item to anyone who's short on storage and could use something that's not a problem to put together or too big or bulky, and weighs a ton. So, sum this up, LIGHT WEIGHT, EASY TO ASSEMBLE, GREAT FOR STORAGE, STURDY, and WORTH THE PRICE! ... show more

I love the easy to clean black fabric used. I did put the tops of the cubes on the top set and ended up with 8 cubes. Perfect for the closet. It’s like a open dresser and I was able to organize clothes in it. SUPER HAPPY would buy again
