Yes, we all have been looking at air purifiers after Covid, for both office and especially home. Because of that a plethora of purifiers suddenly came on the market making it almost impossible to know one that actually does its job. For me, it was an even more serious issue. After big rains here, I discovered months later that water leaked into my lower level and into the back of a linen closet creating the much feared black mold. Long story short, I had professionals eradicate that and rebuild the closet and areas behind it, but I was told that it would be a good idea to get a high quality purifier to clean out any spores in the air. After extensive research, I discovered that the best filter is the HEPA 14 Medical Grade. And because it is relatively new, and used mostly professionally (in hospitals, etc.), home units were not easy to find. But I did find just the one. The PuroAir HEPA 14 Air Purifier. I have to say it was a great choice! So many of these purifiers have “layers” of filters, all except for the final HEPA replaceable filter that has to be cleaned at least every few months. They also are nowhere as efficient as the HEPA 14. This purifier is beautifully constructed. Best yet, the control panel is extremely easy to operate. It monitors the quality of the air with various colors, and you can easily change the flow from manual low/medium/high, or have several timers, and best yet, it has a sophisticated “AUTO MODE” that monitors your air, and turns on when needed. I found I liked the manual controls, and have it on “medium” 24 hours a day. And I have to say, that there is a definite difference in the quality of air I am breathing in my bedroom where I have it. I sleep better as well, and no longer have any attacks from outside pollen. Really, I take long deep breaths which feel like what it’s like to drink water from a pure mountain stream. Yes, I know that sounds way too much like a corny infomercial “testimonial”… but I swear, an hour or so after I turned this on (and the setup is delightfully easy), that is exactly what it felt like! And I noticed dust does not settle on furniture of TV, books, etc., and now you would never know I have two very furry cats! Oh, and instead of having to deal with layers of filters, this one is “all in one”. It pops in and out. I found that I have a neighbor that has this unit, which they bought in the beginning of the year and he still has the original filter in it (a light will come on when your filter needs replacement). I’m so glad I waited until this unit, and this filter became available. I use mine in my bedroom as I said, but this unit alone can cover an entire home! This is the one to buy. All Hail the PuroAir Hepa 14 air purifier and filter! First off, I wanted to disclose I don't leave reviews hardly ever, but this product deserves all the recommendations and recognition. We have two large (shedding) dogs, and wood stove and I wanted something that could refresh and clean the air. I loved the first one so much I bought another. I leave them on all day, and I'm a month in with these and they don't get hot or show any signs of wearing down. They have features like auto, low, medium and high along with a sleep mode, and a timer for various hours for auto shut off. I love the sleek design, and how efficient they work. This sounds dramatic, but within a hour the air quality seemed night and day different. I bought a couple of new filters which are around $45 per filter, which I feel like is appropriately priced as they recommend to change them out every few months. If you're looking for a machine that is quiet, effective and life changing-this is! ... show more

Light Has remained green since I got it, supposedly meaning the air quality is good. Not sure if that means the air has always been clean but the air does feel cleaner. Easy to use and set up.

After living in the same house for 26 years the dust was getting out of control! In comes the Puro Hepa 14 air purifier. Not only is it quiet, even on the auto mode, but it has significantly reduced the dust in our bedroom where we have it set up. My wife said she needed to dust the furniture every three days before the purifier, now its every other week. Realistically it won't eliminate all of the dust, but it will drastically improve your air quality!! ... show more

Works great so far- had it a few weeks. Air had a cleaner smell as well as a cleaner “feel” somehow. Circle around the “on” button changes color according to air cleanliness and increases fan speed automatically- 3 fan speeds plus automatic. Other features- worth reading the manual. Large capacity HEPA filters are $50, but that is normal for HEPA. Quiet, especially for a fan of this capacity. ... show more
