I have a a mixed breed dog (Yorkie, shitzu, and chihuahua) that's 20lb and 12 yrs old. He has always had a sensitive stomach and uhm, not to be gross but pooping issues. They were never a nice solid healthy poop. When the vet recommended it a few years back...let me say...WOW. The probiotic was an instant game changer. He now has healthy poops lol. I also started giving it my other dog (also mixed and 2.5 yrs old) to keep her gut healthy. They both have no issues with it and eat it like a treat!-they both like the flavor. NOTE: If you have a picky eater, recommend the tablet vs the powder. My senior dog wouldn't eat his food with the powder mixed in (I tried kibble and kibble with wet) but the tablet he gobbles up.     • Really works.
I've used this product on my dog in the past and because it was so expensive I quit after a few months. I tried 3 other brands and those brands either left my dog with vomiting, diarrhea or chewing on his paws so much it was like he was chewing on a bone. I also noticed his constant digging of his ears so much that he would actually be in pain from the constant scratching. For a week now my dog has been back on Purina Pro Plan vitamins and I've noticed no more chewing of the paws, no more scratching of the ears no diarrhea and no vomiting. He is back to normal. I will never switch to anything else. That is my promise to my boy and to Purina. Thank you for making such a good product. ... show more

My dogs do well with these. My girl is heartworm positive so I have to give these to her. She is on antibiotics for 30 days every other month and it is really hard on her stomach. I do find that it has been helpful. They are a bit hard. My golden retriever will not eat them, but my senior dog does. They are probably too big to put in something like a pill pocket and if you have a picky dog, the dog may still spit it out since it is so hard. ... show more

    • Works but so pricey
Listen these are ridiculously expensive so I’m knocking a star off. But they work really well to help both my dogs with who both have constant stomach and digestion issues. I just wish they weren’t so insanely expensive so I’m always looking out for comparable more affordable option- I’ve yet to find one that works as well as this one though. We live in the middle of the woods and my dogs are constantly eating rabbit poop, drinking skank water out of tree stumps, and finding dead things to roll around in. The all natural, organic dog food and all natural sweet potato treats they get twice a day just isn't earthy enough for them. Unfortunately, all of that nature has bacteria that upsets their stomachs. Three dogs with diarrhea at the same time is something I never wish to experience again so I give them FlortiFlora daily. It's pricey but not as pricey as replacing two dog beds and a couple of towels, office visits for three dogs, and three prescriptions for metronidazole. If you don't want to give it as a daily supplement, get a bottle to help your dog recover from a bout of bubble guts after he swiped and ate that pizza off the counter. ... show more

    • Important Supplement for dogs on Antibiotic
i purchased this supplement because my dog had a UTI. I first went to the veterinary and they confirmed the UTI and put her on 10 day of antibiotic. After 10 days the dog was not improved. So they put her on another 10 days of the same antibiotic. They told me if she wasn't better after another 10 days they would send her urine specimen to an outside lab for confirmation of the most effective antibiotic to address the specific bacteria. This antibiotic rollercoaster was getting expensive. But worse yet, my dog was not feeling well and it was taking far tooo long to cure her! So I purchase a Cranberry supplement for dogs, and the Fortiflora.. Apparently Cranberry is a natural way to combat bacteria in the Urinary tract. And the Fortiflora is important to restore the healthy flora and fauna in her gut that the antibiotics would have wiped out completely. Within just a few days of these supplements I could see my dog was improving. Fewer need for potty breaks and no more accidents in the house were the sign. In just 4 days she was back on her normal potty schedule and acting like herself again. I highly recommend this product. I bought the 90 day pill bottle because it was easy to administer, she likes the "treat" and I want her to stay on the Probiotics for a while to be sure her gut gets back to normal after 20 days on antibiotics.
