we actually started using this on my mixed pitbull because his trainer who trained purebred cane. Corso’s recommended it to us, and it’s done wonders for his fur for his skin for him and general. This is the only food that my GSD with EPI has done well on. Even better than the vet prescribed dog food. It is expensive, but I have yet to find one that isn't that my dog can tolerate.

My lab has allergies and her ears build up gunk and fluid; we assumed it was solely from the pollen and stuff outside. We changed her from Chicken flavored Pro Plan and within a week, her ears were barely gunky and they no longer smell when she shakes her head. Her skin is less flaky as well. It didn't resolve her allergies completely, but it made a HUGE difference. ... show more

5-* My vet recommended this product when my golden retriever was strugglieg with allergies which caused her to scratch and itch. She loves this food, and it solved the allergy and scratching issues. I highly recommend this food and the other Purina Pro products, such as the matching wet food.
