  • Stop buying boutique food!
Size: 6 Pound (Pack of 1)
I had to put my min pin down, Mitzi, last year and my cat, Oreo, last month They both were fed expensive foods. Oreo, my cat, was 18 and kidney disease got her. My min pin fell off the back of a chair and injured her spine years before we had to put her down. I made up my mind no more pure bred dogs and got the cutest rescue puppy last month. I decided no more boutique foods unless someone could convince me why I should. I have a healthcare background and have spent hours researching food. In the end I decided Purina One was a healthy choice. I consulted with my vet and that's what her dogs get. You don't need canned or "fresh food". Think about it, how long did pets live without all these boutique foods? The only thing that changed was the market, Spend that money on toys! ... show more

  • Vet Recomended This!
Size: 18 Pound (Pack of 1)
I got this brand of puppy food after a neighbor and vet told me that there was correlation between grain-free foods and increased risk of heart problems (even in dogs with a lower risk). So I've switched to this as it was one of the brands the vet told me about as they have certified vets/nutritionists that work on the formulations to ensure a healthy and happy pup. My pup has loved this since I switched her to it! Some people in the reviews talk about how the food made their dogs sick but don't explain the reason behind it (like allergies, food expired, improper storage, etc.) and in essence kinda bash the brand/seller. If you think the food is making your pup sick, please talk to your vet about the possible reason(s) behind it and if necessary switch the brand. Sometimes certain brands or ingredients will not work for your dog and can make them feel sick due to a number of reasons. Just use your better judgement to ensure you are choosing the right food for your pup :) *Also a P.S. for those who don't know or just don't care to look at the amazon descriptions/pictures, purina proplan puppy has changed their packaging and I also believe they changed the formulation a bit. So this isn't a "fake brand". The company just made changes and you may need to cross check ingredients between the old and new to see if your pup is okay with these changes. ... show more

  • Caused our puppy to vomit and have bloody stool
Size: 34 Pound (Pack of 1)
I would never buy this product again. Our vet recommended it, and I saw good reviews online so went with it. Our puppy is now 10 months old. After 8 months of her throwing up, having bloody stool, being thoroughly examined, turning her nose up to her food and us continuing to change flavors or disguise the food.... she finally fell ill and quit eating all together. I finally woke up and changed her food. Within 3 days she is so happy, eating all her food without hesitation, playing again like a puppy and having normal vowel movements. I feel so guilty for not changing sooner, but the vet didn’t think it was her food, so I honestly didn’t either. Now I know for sure it was. It’s not worth the anguish. ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY THIS FOOD ON AMAZON!
Size: 6 Pound (Pack of 1)
After paying $900 to save my 9 month puppy from almost dying at the emergency vet, I beg everyone to not buy this food from Amazon or any food!! Some people have great stories and have never had any issues, all I will say is this dog food almost caused my 9 month mini schnauzer to have kidney disease. Over time I did not notice her issues. After three weeks of giving this to her she eventually lost so much weight, vomited and pooped uncontrollably, then finally peed blood! She is now on kidney medicine and she is only 9 months old. She had no issues before this food, so again just be warned! ... show more

  • Not exactly what was advertised
Size: 34 Pound (Pack of 1)
This was advertised as Purina Pro Plan Focus puppy. However, what arrived, while it was labeled Purina Pro Plan puppy food, it was NOT labeled Purina Pro Plan Focus puppy food. I read the ingredients on our current "Focus" empty bag and the one that came, and the list of ingredients was different. Also, the labeling was in English and French instead of only English. I trust Purina and their quality. I did not appreciate the retailer sending a close, but not the same product. ... show more

  • Great for my 5month old Micro Bully
Size: 34 Pound (Pack of 1)
This brand came highly recommended by breeder. My dog doesn't break out (allergies), he loves it.. i give it to him as rewards while training. It's the perfect small size for my 20lb / 5month old micro bulldog. I give him 1/2 cup in the morning and 1/2 cup in the evening. I mix the dinner with scoop of chicken liver (washed off & cut up) and 2 tsp of goat milk (probiotics/great for tummy). He loves it!!!! That's a treat for him. I got this big bag instead of the 6lb bag in store that ran out in 2 weeks. This made over 6 (one) gallon ziploc bags worth of dog food. So this should last for 2+months. Highly recommend for all puppies or small dogs due to ingredients and the size of the food. Great for dogs with small teeth or even still their baby teeth. Buy cheap you get cheap and a medical bill. So spend the extra money for your dog health so you're not paying for it in a vet bill. ... show more

  • Thanks for 2 sick puppies
Size: 34 Pound (Pack of 1)
After getting tired of buying overpriced smaller bags we decided to give the 34 lb. bag a try on Amazon. After two days we noticed one of our puppies vomiting shortly after eating. A day later we had two puppies vomiting. We figured they must've gotten into something in the yard and didn't think much of it. A week later, one was still vomiting and both had diarrhea. I started reading reviews and realized that this wasn't uncommon with the product. We've never had an issue with the smaller bags from the pet store so we ended up tossing 3/4 of a 34 lb. bag in the trash. Good riddance ... show more

  • My picky puppy is happy with this.
Size: 6 Pound (Pack of 1)
My three-month old pomeranian puppy loves this. He’s picky as there are some snacks he wouldn't bother to eat and committed after taking heartworm disease pill. But even after starting to give him snacks, he would still run to eat these kibbles. I only have fed him.this because it's what my breeder had been feeding him before I picked him up, but I like that he likes it and it's not some cheap, unhealthy dog food. I find it a good bang for the buck. ... show more
