Our cat was suffering from what appeared to be food allergies. Excessive licking across his whole body, vomiting, and hair balls. Oh, the hair balls. After some research and talking with our vet, we decided to put him on a grain-free diet. This seemed to answer the bill. Within a couple of days, we started seeing results. Our boy went from vomiting food/hair once a day to about twice a month. He licked far, far less. I can guarantee you that you will have similar results, but I can honestly say that this food made a significant difference with our cat. As for him, he seems to really like the taste. He can be picky, but he took to the taste immediately. In fact, he often choses to eat this food over his treats and even the wet food he previously loved. The only problem there is that he has the nasty habit of eating too fast, so we do have to take extra precautions there. But, that is perfectly fine when the food is making such a positive difference. As a bonus, the food itself is lighter than other dry foods. So, you may get a 3.5 lb bag of food, but there is simply more of it. Also, this offers just the right amount of taurine for a cat's diet. Apparently, insufficient taurine is a problem with many grain-free foods. Something we found out by our vet. Overall, we've been feeding this to our cat for about 3 months now, and we are really happy with the results so far. ... show more

I wish my cats would eat it. I think if the pieces were a little smaller, they might like it. Some of my cats are older and they like smaller bite size food. They will eat kitten food cause the pieces are very small. Otherwise, I am trying to get them to used to this food. It is a better type of food, but they are sort of fussy and spoiled. Ive tried premium $$ foods and and cheap foods- they ignore it. I shake the bag and my 2 cats come running now and clear the bowls. Im happy and are glad they like it. 5 stars.

I bought this "Wild" Protein Purina One thinking more and better protein might be good for the cats. They usually enjoy eating other Purina One dry food products. It took them a longer time to try eating it. The small is different from the other Purina One varieties they like. We are sticking with it now that it seems to be popular. ... show more
