A Cheaper Alternative That Works Just As Good

I usually buy my cats regular friskies cat food but with the addition of 2 cats to the family, with one having insane stomach issues that would not only cause her poops to be very runny, but smell horrific and she would refuse to use the litter box when her poops were as such, so I'd constantly have to leave her in the bathroom where she'd always poop by the toilet or in the bathtub, which, having two bathrooms and rarely using that one, didnt effect me much but still gross to think about on the rare occasions I'd want a soak. We were buying a cat food that was $36 for 12 lbs, though I usually got it on sale at $30, but compared to the Purina, thats a few dollars less but also 4 lbs less of cat food. We hit hard times and I was working reduced hours while my sister lost her job, so with all the finances being on me I was desperate for an alternative that wouldn't strain my purse as much, while also not having to buy 2 separate types of cat food, I recommended we try this due to reviews and research, and boy does it work just as great! Not only does it also stop the runny poops for our little lady, but we get more for our money so we dont run out of food as fast, and all the cats get a healthier food overall. Best of all, theyre all hungry little buggers anyway and are in love with it, even my prissy lady who is a very picky eater! My silly lady mows it down and is always begging for more and my big lady never complains!

A Switch I Should Have Made Sooner for 4 Cats

I initially switched to this food as a temporary solution after one of my cats experienced several days of vomiting and food refusal. Within 24 hours of changing foods, the vomiting stopped and her appetite, energy level, and overall demeanor improved noticeably. What surprised me most was that all four of my cats immediately preferred this food over their previous diet. Despite being less expensive and having a simpler ingredient list than the boutique food I had been feeding, the real-world results have been far better. My cats are eating well, seem satisfied after meals, and my sensitive cat is acting like herself again. Based on my experience, I would absolutely purchase it again.

Helped my sensitive kitty

I fed my cat IAMS for years, because it listed "chicken" as the first ingredient and I thought that was good enough. She threw up a lot--two or three times a week--but I thought that was normal, cats just throw up a lot. Then I had to take her for a rabies shot, and in my state they won't administer the shot without also doing an exam. My vet told me that for a cat to throw up more than once a week was a problem. She recommended bloodwork (for $100+...), which I declined (I'm a grad student). She also mentioned trying a sensitive stomach food. First I tried Blue Buffalo, since they're natural and fancy and whatever. Well, she hated that. She pooped on the floor every day until I stopped giving it to her. So, back to IAMS, and back to waking up to the sound of my cat puking. Better than an alarm clock. Then I figured I'd give this stuff a try, since it was a decent price on Amazon. I gradually mixed this in with her regular food, and after about a week was only feeding her this food. She seemed to enjoy the taste (though she's always been a healthy eater...). BUT the best part? She now pukes only about once or twice every TWO weeks. So I've stuck with this food for about two years, and will continue to purchase. An interesting side note: she also has stomatitis (a very painful autoimmune disease that attacks the teeth). She was nine years old before I found out (she never complained), and the vet was very surprised that she was still eating dry food. Apparently stomatitis is exceptionally painful, and cats who suffer from it usually have their teeth removed before age 5 or so. About a year after her diagnosis, my family agreed to pay for her to have dental surgery. She had about half of her teeth removed. When I brought her home, I gave her canned food, and was really worried because she wasn't really eating. I tried like four different brands of wet food. Finally, I put the dry food out just to see what would happen. She immediately gobbled up the dry Purina food. That was about six months ago, and she still mostly eats this dry food, even with fewer teeth. Cats don't actually chew their food--they just kind of swish it around their mouth until it's soft enough to swallow. Bottom line: Great food! Really helped save my carpets from all that cat puke. Well, my landlord's carpets...

Our go to cat food

We get this cat food regularly for our three cats it comes in nice large bags which is great for our cats. Every once in awhile the cats still throw up, but its bot as bad as it used to be and they are all pretty healthy with this brand. The quality is good and its one of the few tastes all our cats can agree on. Mom likes it so much she was telling her brother to try putting his cats on it as well, and was telling a neighbor about a different purina product for owners with allergies. This was getting to the point where shes said "i don't work for purina but I think theyre awesome" in any case I think theyre awesome too

Our cat loves Purina ONE

We have had good success with this product. We got our cat from the local humane society. She was approximately two years old and she had been declawed and neutered, which suggests that the original owners had invested some money and planned to keep her. We soon discovered why she may have been taken to the pound—she threw after nearly every meal. We tried many different products for cats with sensitive stomachs and found the Purina One version to be one of the best. Our cat seldom has any vomiting issues after eating. Good choice for cats with sensitive stomachs.

The Best and Affordable Cat food!

The food is amazing. The kibble size is a great size for a cat to crunch but not make a huge mess. The bag itself will last one regular cat around 2 months! I love feeding this food to my cat because he loves eating it! He is always crunching on it during the day and night, and everytime I fill his bowl he races to it.
