My dog is a 2 year old Lab and he is very energetic and active. I mix this with his dry purina one venison and turkey dog food and he loves it. I have tried other dog foods but this is the one he loves and it does not cause his allergies to flare up like some of the other ones have. I have had two other Labs prior to Duke and so I am aware that Labs are prone to allergies and he has definitely had some flare ups but this particular brand and the ingredients has really helped with that. I recently moved to Alaska to work and it took some time and research to find the best way to get this food on a delivery schedule as it has to be flown in to our small village on The North Slope but Amazon and the suppliers have been great!!! I am super happy with the product, suppliers, and Amazon for helping me keep my dog happy and healthy and eating well! I highly recommend!!! ... show more

I loved that this got my super picky husky to eat. She’d lost about 7-9lbs just from starving herself and being super active. I buy mid to higher quality food for my pups and struggled to find a brand/flavor she liked. Instead, I buy a mid-quality food, mix with a quarter can of this food, and the rest is history. She will pick out the meaty bits first, and then go to town on the dry food after it’s been coated in gravy. Overall, excellent results for me!! ... show more

    • Always see to have damaged cans
The product is fine but I get tired of receiving the shipment with either dented or smashed cans. The last shipment had one can broken open and was all over the other cans in the flat. At the price I pay for each can, I hate throwing any away.

I buy good quality canned good for my Chihuahuas and Chugs when they get too thin or when pregnant or nursing . They LOVE this food. I like the ground one better and have purchased it for next month through subscribe and save. I need to check the price each time that I order as it does fluctuate. I am glad to be able to buy this. I am a vegetarian myself , the smell does not make me gag. I am glad that it does not have grain in it . ... show more

My dog has an allergy to beef, I have been buying this at Walmart and Meijers but i have to go every week because they don't stock as much as i need. I tried Chewy but they do not ship wet dog food, neither does Walmart. This keeps my dog from licking his butt and it comes right to the house. I feel sorry for the mail lady when they ship 3 cases in 1 box it is too heavy and awkward for me to lift safely.
