Grain Free ALL THE WEEEE

So I recently adopted a cat from a shelter where they fed her dry Meow Mix only. I can't blame them; they're supporting a kajillion cats over there... The first several days she was home with me I couldn't believe how strong smelling her poops were - and soft - not like a good bm should be, ya know? So I did some research... cats DO NOT need carbs. They are obligate carnivores. Even dogs are not obligate carnivores and do need some veggies now and then. But not cats. Anyways, this food is the most reasonably priced that I have found. I feed her about 1/2 can of wet food three times per day and now she only poops ONCE per day and it doesn't even smell guys... ok it's poop so it smells but I have to 'search' in the litter box to see if she went that day because I literally can't smell it... There are other brands out there that are also really good but they are more expensive and I have found that she does not enjoy them as much. And your eyes are not tricking you - she only has 1 outer ear. Her name is Uno :)

The Cat ate it, not me

While I won't continue to buy this cat food, that is not a sign of its quality. My cat just wants to be enormous, and these cans are too small for him. So determined to be a gargantuan sphere of fluff is my cat that he could go through six, seven cans of this if he had the knowhow to open them. As it is, he simply screamed his head off for more after eating what I can safely describe as a reasonable amount. So he loves it. But then again, he loves all wet foods. Hasn't turned his nose up at anything except an extended period of eating only tuna based meals (his skin was dry). So, my cat isn't the pickiest, but he is the hungriest.

This was recommended by our Veterinarian for our 12 yr old cat who is border-line diabetic and over-weight, (and has never eaten "people food", for those who know what that means). She seems to be doing much better (she's lost about 2 pounds already and is more active) since we switched her diet to grain free just over 2 months ago.

Happy cats, happy life!

The cats are fussy about their ideal food. Pate, grain free, loads of gravy. One likes beef, the other seafood. This chicken recipe seems a reasonable compromise, well accepted and scarfed down quickly by both cats. You know it's good when they follow up by checking each others' bowls to see if anything is left! (Not a bit, all gone). This has turned into the go-to wet food as there's never any left. I've purchased the chicken, beef, and turkey - the last was the favorite. Watch pricing as it can vary by flavor, at one point going up $5 in a day or two from when it was placed in my cart before I finalized the order. Yikes. Overall well worth it, per the furballs.

It was Great to think I had another choice

I started ordering this because My older 15, Cat has diabetes, needing High Protein and Moisture, Low Carbs, I ordered 4 cases 1 Tuna seldom feed but she lives, 2 Chicken and 1 Turkey, it says Chicken on the Box, yet the picture shows Classic Turkey on the Can, o the same box? It was Great to think I had another choice, not So great getting something I wasn't expecting, Definitely need to fix your LABLES, Chicken or Turkey? How was I supposed to know, ordering Turkey would bring a 3rd case of Chicken. Disappointed with The Labeling of the Case, and picture on the Can.

Best Kitty Food

My cats are very picky and yes, I realize they ALL are. However, my cats pick at their meal then yowl about how I should supplement with snacks. Since I've switched to Purina ONE Grain Free they chow down and I don't hear any more complaints. So I'm happy to give them 5 stars!

Kinda pricey, but my cat was pretty okay with the wet food

in terms of grain-free wet food options, this is one of the cheaper options. But that doesn't change that in general, this is a pretty pricey wet cat food option. Not premium level, just out of range for those struggling with wanting to provide good food options to their cats on a stricter budget. I think that while yes, the purina one series might be that product that works for some pet owners and their cats, I'm kinda not impressed with how my cat was just meh about the price of this pate recipe. I won't dock a star just cause cat taste and cat food budget is super dependent on the individual. I have had some products by other brands where my cat preferred to go hungry than eat more of the food, this one wasn't to that extreme. My cat was just didn't particularly like the texture and taste of it, fancy feast grilled wet food is cheaper and makes my cat happier. But, is going grain free is worth the price increase (and decrease in cat flavor preference)? idk, depends on the pet and cat owner the ingredient list is pretty good, the nutrion is up there. No super strong odor from the food.
