When I first bought this food for my cat I was worried about switching him too fast to a new food. I took an empty Temptations treat bag and put some of the food in it and fed it to him as a treat. He wasn't getting a lot of it, but learning to love it. After the first 3 lb. bag was gone doing it this way, I switched him over to Beyond in his dish. He loves it, and I still keep some in a bag by my computer and he comes and begs for "treats" even though the same thing is in his dish. The only issue I have is that the kibble is in two sizes, a small round and a larger triangular shape. He chews the triangles but swallows the rounds. ... show more

My cats, upon recommendation of vet, insisted they needed to be on a grain-free diet. This is the Only reason why I give is 4 Stars. Received two bags this month on the 1st, as usual. They're just now getting to the 1st of 2 of these, it's Not out of date, yet my cats (both on 1st serving) are now picking at the food. Has Purina made any change to this cat food (the bits look larger)? Anyone else out there having the same trouble, please report & get the word to Purina! This same thing happened once in the past with another grain-free food (when we had only one cat). I don't like the idea of having to find another food & likely will be stuck with these two bags. They used to lick their plates clean, now they both leave bits & pieces everywhere, plus this food is more costly compared to some premium brands. If your cat has been eating this brand well before recently, but not now, time to stand up & make your say. ... show more

I'm not sure what the other reviewer is on about regrading change to this food. I've been feeding it for a year and it's been the same, no changes noted. If the kibbles are a little larger I haven't noticed it. But they're perfectly well sized for adult cats to eat. Most cats are messy eaters, that's a fact of life :) and I always have crumbs from both dry and wet food. If they don't pick up those crumbs it just means they're well fed and potentially spoiled, just like felines are supposed to be. :) ... show more

His stink has been calmed down, he won't eat anything else in dry , he will do wet when he's out of dry but the stink returns! Been raised on this, he is trim and healthy with a beautiful black and white coat ! My love kitty !

My cats, notoriously picky eaters, love this food. I’ve tried all major brands currently available, but this is the only one they truly love. I love it because it’s grain free. I would use to buy different cat foods to keep them all satisfied since one would like one cat food brand and ingredients but another one wouldn’t like it. One of my cats started spitting up yellow half-digested kibble - and my vet said it's because some cats can't tolerate grains at all... since cats are omnivores. So, I switched all the cats to this dry food. I feed them grain-free wet food in the a.m. and free feed this Purina grain-free food. They love it and I can tell from the output in the litter box that they're absorbing the food well. My 2 year old cat likes this food. He gets 2/3 cup per day, & is getting plump. Per my vet, switch to a weight control cat food, to avoid cat becoming overweight or obese.
