I have a cat with mega colon that I have had on lactulose, cisapride, and spent several trips and a many hundreds of dollars on vet bills for removal of fecoliths. I took the cat completely off all commercial cat food and started feeding him homemade food, then gradually, he started nibbling this food that the other cats were on. No matter how much of it he eats, and he loves it, he has not had a single impaction! I tried every cat food on the market, and this is the only one that he can eat that will not clog his bowel! After about 3 weeks of feeding my cats this food they stopped throwing up. I would normally find 2 or 3 or 4 spots a week. Now I find none. Very happy with this Food.

This is the go-to food for my babies. They refuse to eat any other food, including the Salmon flavor of the same brand. I don't know why, but I am glad it makes them so happy. The problem is, most stores only carry 3 or 6 lb bags and the cost is usually double or more what other dry foods cost of the same weight. This product; However, is a much larger bag, meaning it lasts a lot longer, and for the price, it is actually cheaper to buy than at the store. We usually buy 2 of these bags a month and that feeds 3 adult cats, and we supplement their dry food with a can of 4H wet food every day, for variety and dietary health. I can't praise this product enough as it has kept our babies fed, happy, and healthy for several years and is exactly the type of natural, grain-free food we have always been looking for. I recommend anyone looking for a grain-free alternative to really consider this product and see if your children enjoy it as much as ours do. ... show more
