I ordered this cover because our puppies chewed on our old sofa. I bought a new sofa and didn't want the puppies to destroy it. Note: I looked at a lot of covers. Colors offered are not great. I ended up with the dk/lt blue since my sofa is a light blue. Although the description says that a Large cover should fit, after looking at a lot of customer feedback, I went with the X-Large cover. Glad I did. I don't think the Large would have fit. This one fits fine - except for the straps. Since my sofa has attached pillows there is really no place to attach the straps. But the cover fits ok otherwise. The arms hang over as pictured. I tucked in the excess under the pillows since I didn't want it hanging over. Although the back isn't secured by the straps I've noticed that it stays in place - even when the puppies are wrestling on the sofa! I would rather have not had to cover my new sofa but the cover keeps it from being damaged. A good, decent purchase. Not stylish but definitely functional.

If you have kids (and we do), there's a fifty-percent chance, that's one of the reasons your looking at this cover. (The other fifty-percent, would be pets.) This is a good choice- attractive, durable, functional, and... protective. Ours had endured a couple of beverage spills, and the chocolate chips from more than a couple of cookies. (Ever tried telling a 9-year old to keep the cookies in the kitchen, when the TV's on?) The sofa has come though, unscathed. In our case, this cover doesn't fit perfectly- it's actually a tad on the small side. But our sofa must be an irregular size, because we've tried other "one-size-fits-all" covers- and they didn't. However, those other covers also didn't look or feel as durable as this one does. And, although this cover isn't a perfect fit, it does cover all of the high-use areas- including the arms, making it a very practical- and effective, solution. Of course the other big consideration in selecting a cover, is color. Again, this cover's color isn't an exact match for our sofa (which is a medium gray), but it's a nice contrast, since this gray cover is a few shades darker. Overall, we're very happy with this cover- it's the best one we've found! ... And we've tried a few! Kid tested- real-life approved!

A husband and I have two German shepherds who are spoiled so they like to lay on the sofas. I knew I would have to get some thing because they shed a lot so I ordered these covers after having ordered other ones from another store. These are fabulous to say the least! Not only they look beautiful, but they’re cushioned, they keep any spills away, and they hold onto the furniture because of their straps. Yesterday one of my dogs threw up and it went straight down to the floor and nothing was absorbed into the sofa, so I am very happy and highly recommend it to everyone. We washed it and it looks exactly the same as new. Get it !!

This is the 2nd one of these covers I have bought for my couch. I have an old dog and 2 wild cats who all love to sleep on this couch. These are nice covers and I like the way it fits by tucking in. I do have to readjust it by the end of the day and not totally waterproof, but works for me just fine. I loved the elastic strap on the last one I got that fit all around the back and was adjustable too. Now the straps just go around the top corners of the couch. It doesn't work nearly as well for keeping it on.

The biggest problem for me is keeping the cover on the sofa. It constantly slides out of place on our leather sofas. Don't know if that is a problem of the sofas or the cover. The texture of the material is light, but seems sturdy. Fits well other than the slipping problem. Probably will not order one for the other sofa unless I can solve the staying in place problem. Plastic provided does not help much. Gave 4 stars for fit and material.

This sofa protector is doing a good job and it stays in place better than expected. It is better than other covers I've used in the past. The foam pieces mean to tuck into the cushions are pretty much useless because they keep coming out. But I found the cover stays in place pretty well without them.

Couch covers fits pretty well. No real complaints other than no way to keep the arm covers and back/top down well. They get flipped over easily. Overall it's a good way to protect the couch.
