We chose white curtains to match our room, thinking if the white was a true blackout curtain that every other dark color surely would follow. And we were right! These curtains are incredible! Not only do they keep out the sun, but they insulate the room, keeping out the heat of summer. And if they do that, I know they will insulate us during the winter. They are pretty, and match our trim color in the living room. I was afraid they would be heavy, but they aren't. They are moderate weight so they don't pull on the curtain rod. I am so happy! I love them so much I'm going to get more to go in other rooms of the house.

These curtains are heavier than most curtains and seem to be very well made. My reason for only four stars is b/c I would say the color in the picture was much different from the color I received. Even though the color said "dusk blue" they looked more seafoam color, which is what I was going for, but these were a true dusk blue. So, if you are looking for that color these would be perfect. I still used them, and they have been great for a blackout curtain, they are even helping keep my house a little cooler during these very hot days we've been having here. I liked the linen look with the blackout feature, so I am happy about that too.
