This comforter is absolutely fantastic. The cover is a light brushed cotton. It feels soft and velvety on its own, & isn’t slippery —so it will stay put inside a duvet cover. The fill is great. Not one feather detected— it feels like “pure down” for real. The baffle box stitching is like a luxury comforter. For anyone that thinks it’s thin or uneven— fluff it up by lifting gently on each square when you unwrap it. The only test left is whether the down comes out through the cover after use. But it’s too wonderful for me to care much if it did.

We needed a new comforter for our new bed, and my husband, since he was a little kid, had always loved feather pillows and feather comforters. I decided that I would find a really nice feather or down comforter as a present for him since he let me pick out the bed of my dreams. So I looked through all the different lightweight feather comforters and chose one and my husband loved it but I didn't like the crinkly sound it made and I didn't think it was fluffy enough or soft enough but he liked it so we kept it. I decided to just look and see what you would get for the highest price range in feather comforters from Amazon. To check out a heavier type of feather comforter or a very expensive one since the first one had been about $150, kind of mid-range price. So for fun I looked at the top of the line only down all year round comforter. I've never spent $450 for a blanket in my life but I decided I just had to see what it was like. I got the oversized King and when it came and we opened it and and put it on the bed it was amazing! It just kept poofing up and poofing up and it had no crinkle sound! it had the softest most wonderful fabric so we both decided to get under it and try it and it was like being in heaven. It was larger than a normal King comforter which was great but this blanket truly is the most wonderful thing I've ever slept under in my life! We bought an oversized duvet cover in the thousand count Egyptian fabric which the comforter was made out of and we got the pinch plate so it would look like the original blanket and the duvet cover is absolutely amazing and made the comforter even better. I just don't want to ever get out of bed anymore. It doesn't crinkle, it's so soft, it has the best medium weight so you have that feel of being safe and that pressure but it's soft and light on you. Definitely put a cover over it because its white and it has to be dry cleaned. can't say anything more that makes this sound any better, but if you can spend the money to buy it, I would say grab it! It's one of the best things I have ever bought in my life!

It’s a gorgeous comforter! Soft and light weight. This quality for a comforter costs $1000+ anywhere else. I never thought I would be able to afford quality like this in my life. The pinch pleat is beautiful. It fluffs up very well. My husband and I just love it!!

Gushy, cushy, fluffy, cloud goodness. Definitely has that hotel suite quality. Expensive af but knowing just how expensive down comforters can be, it feels like it’s worth the money.

The 800 fill is a nice weight and honestly, not getting the "too warm" comments I find in here? The 700 thread count cover is superb quality with piping and loops on each corner to tie inside of your duvet cover. I found this duvet to be light and just enough warmth for SoCal temps (lows 30's, hights 70's). I tend to run cold when I sleep and will use this for all seasons. As a comparison, I own a Scandia Down duvet comforter and this one easily competes with pieces you can purchase for 3-4x this price, tipping $1000. I am super happy with it! Also, with any brand new down, you must work with it... when you take it out of it's zippered protective cover, it will take a bit of time fluffing and puffing to get the loft you want. But trust me, you will get it to expand...rest assured just a bit of work is standard for any quality down-filled duvet. This is natural delicate down and you will need to shake and play with it for a bit to get it expanding into the big puffs of each section. Mine floofed, flooded and expanded within the baffles beautifully and it is so light!! You can tell this is quality down fill with zero feathers - just pure clean down. Like sleeping wiht the lightest and most comforting cloud on top of you! No wonder they call these "comforters!". This one is 100% comforting. :) Highly recommend for the value!

Hello, Honestly after looking at the price I was a little skeptical purchasing this duvet, but after I received it I can honestly say I never want to leave my bed. There is a smell that comes with it, and it is kinda strong at first, but after a couple of days the smell goes away. Honestly, I can’t get my dang kids out of my bed now, and I’m thinking of returning it just to they will go back to their own bedrooms(just kidding). But in all seriousness this duvet keeps you warm but not to warm, and it is so soft and comfortable that you will never want to leave your bed after trying it for this first time. Money well spent, and thanks to the makers cause this things amazing!! It’s a must buy.
