  • Don't waste your money.
Size: 88-Note
This product is a complete waste of money. We purchased it to replace an 11 year old version of the same style and brand of keyboard case. The first case lasted ten years before ripping out in the handle. The new one was a 2017 Christmas gift and, after sitting for six months, my son finally used the case in June 2018 for a gig. The first time it was used the edging ripped off where it slid against the trunk of his car and the zipper fell away from the cover while being zipped closed - the stitching just gave way, along with the edging. On the fourth outing, the handle ripped out of the black canvas while removing the case from the vehicle. An examination showed no support within the cover, just an "anchor" piece of thin canvas underneath was about 2 inches by 2 inches. The case is meant to hold a full size electronic keyboard but the materials the case is made out of are now extremely cheap and flimsy and incapable of supporting the weight of a keyboard. It was a complete waste of our money, and now we are stuck looking at spending more money on a case that can actually be used for its stated purpose. ... show more

  • I believe a simple conversation with an Amazon representative would easily clear this up
Size: Extra Long 88-Note
Twice now, I have received the wrong product - the keyboard bag that I ordered was supposed to have wheels on it as pictured and described. But, the product I received each time does not have wheels. My biggest issue, however, is that there is nobody I can speak with about this. I believe a simple conversation with an Amazon representative would easily clear this up, but there is no such avenue to clarify what is wrong. Leaving a comment as the reason for my initial return didn't do any good. Perhaps leaving a 1-star comment will help? Otherwise, all I can do is return this one and shop elsewhere... I was counting on having the correct bag delivered by now. Very disappointing. ... show more

  • 45 days and handle is ripped.
Size: 88-Note
Used with Yamaha MOFX8. After using 6-7 times the velcro clasp that holds the fabric handles together has nearly ripped off. Now past the 30 day Amazon return policy, I have submitted a warranty claim with Gator. This case with the synth is not only heavy, but awkward to maneuver. I am 6' 1" at 210, not a small guy... but I have quite a bit of difficulty carrying this case loaded. It would help to have additional handles on BOTH sides and a Padded Carrying Shoulder Strap. With my MOFX 8 loaded up I still have quite a few inches of empty space at one end. I have filled this space with foam padding. Zippers seem heavy duty, and nice zippered storage. I am afraid I will be responsible for shipping this behemoth back if I want warranty repairs... which I imagine I will decline due to size, weight and shipping costs. UPDATE Gator responded next day. Stating this case is NOT recommended for the MOFX8. They said the synth was too heavy. They recommended I return to Amazon and exchange for their $400 hardcase. I checked the GK88 item discription at the Gator website, there I found a .pdf of recommended keyboards for the GK88. The first Yamaha digital keyboard they recommended weighs nearly 5 lbs. more than the MOFX8! SonI contacted Gator once again to point out the discrepancy. They quickly replied that their agreement with Amazon does not allow for them to handle claims. All returns and claims MUST be addressed with AMAZON. Amazon only allows a 30 day return! I will be contacting Amazon directly to see if they will honor my return in lieu of time passed. After further research I have found a few others that hadvthe exact same experience with handles ripping. Sorry, because this is about the most affordable case for a 88 size keyboard. :( ... show more

  • Fits a Roland FP 10 Digital Piano
Size: Slim 76-Note
This case fits my 88 key digital piano almost perfectly. The height of the digital piano is in line with the height of the inside of the case, but the thick, padded straps do add about an extra inch to the height. The case still closes and there's only a mild bulge from the puffy straps. other cases had too much extra room in the width and length, so having a case that was slightly too short was the best option for me. The piano is still very secure and I feel comfortable traveling with this case. The front pocket is also large enough for the music stand and has separate pockets for the power cord, pedal, etc. When the case was delivered it did show mild signs of use/wear, and I called Amazon to report this issue since I paid for a New item, not used. Amazon rectified the situation, and overall I feel this was a worthwhile purchase. ... show more

  • The case is quite nice. It stands on it's end when not in ...
Size: Slim 88-Note
I bought this case for my 52.5-inch long Yamaha P255 keyboard. It fits this case perfectly with just a tad over 1 inch to spare. (they put in an extra piece of foam padding that I use at the end of the keyboard to make it fit snug in the case) I should mention that I do not use the case often, but when I need it, I need it. The case is quite nice. It stands on it's end when not in use. The bottom and sides are rigid but the top is soft-shelled. The two retaining straps stay out of the way while you put the keyboard into the case, and then latch down with good velcro closings on the retaining straps, which have nice soft padding on the side that faces the keyboard. The zipper is a tad cranky going around the corners but is a good heavy-duty zipper. The end handle works well for me. I wish it had another handle or strap on or near the bottom end, it would be nice to have when loading it into a vehicle. The exterior pocket on the case will hold my power supply and sustain pedal, however my Yamaha's acrylic music stand is too long to fit in pocket. When loaded, this case plus my Yamaha is definitely heavy, so the wheels are very important to me, and they do roll well. All in all, the case is working well and the price was reasonable. The exterior of the case is about 60 inches long and you should not expect this case to fit in a standard car unless you have a really huge trunk or your back seats fold down. ... show more
