This has been a great cue. I bought the 11.75mm tip and it took awhile for my game to adjust both to the smaller cue size and the lower deflection than from my previous stick. It has taken at least 3-4 weeks to relax into it, but now I have greater control and wider range of english options. (I am a middle of the road League player Both APA [5] & VNEA [8]) Cue ball Throw on a 2/3's table length, straight shot, with 2 tips from center (Front side english) on the cue ball at medium power is slight to non-existent. Though I normally prefer the ultra-soft Kamui tip, this slightly harder tip has been excellent and is lasting longer. I feel this stick will be sufficient for a few years until I'm a [7] and [9] respectively, and probably longer. I have tried some higher priced low-deflection sticks of my teammates, and am not good enough to detect the difference. I went with a Lower weight 18.5 to soften my shots, and have been happy with that choice as well. Stick has stayed true after leaving it in the car once when the temp went to -17 degrees C. [A no-no, I know] Solid stick for the price point.

I love this cue! I prefer a lighter cue, and quality 17oz cues can be hard to find. I own several very expensive in-laid, custom cues. This cue looks right at home next to them. Straight and solid. This cue has seriously upped my game and makes me question the benefits of some of the more expensive custom cues.

Received the cue 4 days ahead of schedule! Kudos to ProGear! This cue has a great feel. There is very little deflection with the shaft and honestly, it is more likely that the little there was was due to the shooter, not the cue! PureX technology is a pure delight! If you do not need a new cue, then just order a shaft from these guys! They have them is most thread styles.

I own 9 sticks ranging from $600 McDermott, down to cheap $30 sticks bought on Amazon. Love em all, but this 15oz by far makes my skill that much sharper. I have great finesse with my shots most of the time now. ~ Sharky

Don't want a house cue but you're still no pro, this is the cue for you. When you become pro, this will become your back-up. Also, this is one of only two places where i could find 15 oz (ask about weight-adjustment bolts). ProGear is an authorized Player's dealer and Steve is very helpful on the phone.

One of the best looking cues around. Buddy in my APA pool league said it was nicer than his $1600.00 cue. Well balanced, tip is awesome, and straight as an arrow. Best deal on a quality cue stick there is.

Researched first in the $300-500 range. I've never owned a high end stick. It was time since I got a nice table for the house. Liked the look of this stick, wanted low deflection based on my research and the price was attractive. So can't comment on 11.75 vs 12.75 but I love the 11.75 and this stick. It's not perfect where the 2 pieces connect. Highly recommend.
